I have a question that’s not related to this post.
What’s the point of shooting out those blue balls with the ruinous trace rifle?
Do we know how many they are?

Like the other poster before me said one thing is they help with the catalyst. You get 2% for each one. The only other main reason to get them is for the triumph. If you don't care about the triumph or chasing them down you can still finish the catalyst just by getting kills.
