I think the only way to better the cheating problem in D2 is to remove Trials again. As soon as it was brought back, the community got more toxic and the ammount of cheaters grew as well (a lot). I think Bungie should just take it way. The rewards aren't worh it and it's costing Bungie players overall. You brought back a lot of people when you brought it back and lost even more a few months after.
Beyond Light won't fix it. Trials is more of a problem than a fun activity (except for the select few). I got my Flawless title with some friends the first time through. I can hold my own. Very well. I'm not top 1%, but I can play PvP somewhat good.
However, the game keeps losing interest to me every time I encounter a cheater or a group of toxic players. Trials is a cancer and it will kill your gaming community. IDK, maybe you know this and it's on purpose. IDK...

1 返信Trials was the end of fun in Destiny 1 for sure. Before that everyone just used random stuff, weird exotics, and subclass etc. Trials comes and overnight there are No-lifeTubers telling everyone what loadout to use and how to play. Sad times.

It's already too late. All of pvp is strait up plagued by cheaters. Play one match of comp and I guarantee you there will be at least one cheater if not multiple. Removing trials will do nothing. Cheaters pay a sub for a cheat they're going to use it more than just on weekends. This point I have lost faith that anything will ever be done.

2 通の返信ghostx78xにより編集済み: 7/27/2020 3:34:14 PMIm just an average Dad and started playing Trials this weekend on ps4. Almost every team is way above average and has Unbroken/ Flawless titles. I dont understand the point of even playing this ???? Why is this in the game if its for a tiny group of players?

4 通の返信To be fair, Trials brings out the literal worst thing on this game and it always has. Brings out the cheaters, modders and hackers. Brings out the most toxicity in the player base beside Raid elitists. Brings out the rotten scum meta Weapons and brings em to the top of the PvP table. Brings out the most broken class builds and abilities that should've been nerfed years ago and shines a light on them. Brings out the busted ass hit boxes, aim assist, bullet magnetism, lag garbage connections etc... Literally everything wrong with PvP only gets magnified to the nth degree when Trials comes out.

2 通の返信Speaking purely about the pc version of the game here. Trial's is not the main cause for the increase in cheating, although it did not help the matter especially being a mode that was open to anyone. The reason for the increase in cheaters is the move from Battlenet to Steam and the Free To Play model. The move to Steam meant basically no anti-cheat system, or one that was not and still is not effective. Cheating on the PC platform for almost every game has always been an issue, and will continue to be an issue until, basically the OS as soon as you launch a game closes any app that is not "Authorised" that is basically what the consoles do and that is why generally on the consoles you don't really see Aimbot's and Wallhack's. It doesn't matter what they do though, the cheat developers will mostly always find a way around it like they have done with Warzone, it was great for a day or two with the "New Anti-Cheat" but after those first few days the game was riddled again. The Free To Play model also massively increased it, because now you don't have to worry if you get banned, you just go and create a new email address and steam account and start cheating again. The cheat developers are using this as well to test the cheat's that they are developing, and they are laughing at Bungie whilst doing so because they know once they have it working they pop it up for sale and just sit back whilst the money rolls in from, people running throw away accounts to get the Trials Flawless, Glory Legend rank or what ever they want for there main account. Personally I would like Bungie to do the following, but I know they won't do any of them. 1: Find the cheat developers and have them prosecuted 2: Find the cheat developers and give them a job in the security team to counter the cheaters (would probably cost a small fortune though) 3: Force all Crucible including Trials behind a Season Paywall, so if you want to play it you have to own that season you want to play it in, yeah it's a small price for those who are making money from paid carries etc or even cheat developers and cheat users but it might put some off. 4: Find a way to ban the MAC Address of the Modem used to connect to the game, so that they would have to get a new modem, or in countries where modems are provided they have to sign up to a new ISP each time they get banned, yeah there might be ways around it but the majority of cheaters are not smart enough to do it. This is the one reason I am hoping that Bungie allow keyboard and mouse on the consoles eventually, because the day that happens if it happens is, the day my pc get's sold and I switch to Xbox or Playstation for playing Destiny because at least then I will be able to go in to Crucible or Trials and actually have a chance, yeah my PVP skill in this game is not great but it would be more enjoyable to at least get destroyed by someone who I know is 99% to 100% not cheating, compared to on the PC where it's, a 50/50 as to whether they are cheating or not.

Terrible anti cheat, no dedicated servers, we barely have a consistent sandbox if any at all and having the game free to play are all terrible decisions made by bungie. This game needs a lot more attention from the devs, I would even be fine if bungie completely skipped a whole season just so they could actually fix their mistakes. I wouldn’t mind destiny being boring for the next 4-5 months if it meant finally getting a real anticheat, dedicated servers and a much better sandbox. Other games exist so im not going to die over not being able to play destiny for 4-5 months.

It's solely on Bungie on this. Cheaters exist outside of trials. I'm not sure what is worst. Non-existential anti cheat system or non-existential reporting system. I've reported tons of players with those 100% accuracy but they are still playing to this very date. Bravo.

1 返信Trials multiplied the recovs in the game. Recovs fk up matchmaking, making it hard for anyone below the top 3-5% to have a chance. Having people play 10 hpur days getting paid ruins the game. This leads to many people cheating. Most, if not getting paid, would get their few cards done and do something else. Recovs fk up the matchmaking all weekend long. Its why the game mode died so quickly. Its not even relevant at this point. Be best to remove it and fix the comp system.

4 通の返信Countless other pvp games m8 You soon forget how bad destiny pvp is when you see the metric ton of more fun that's to be had elsewhere The community is never happy Never ever happy Its always something No matter what Bungie do there always moaning

4 通の返信Get rid of Trials and Comp and just have ranked and Unranked playlists with a decent loot pool that unlocks new items into your pool by ranking up.

Fix the playlist to something that is high quality or just remove it Bungie. You are destroying your raputation more and more. The game is going downhill and a lot of people have lost hope in your game. You keep fooling people with your preview videos and reveals, but it has an expiration date.

9 通の返信I think trials should be removed altogether. I heard players are setting up vpn just to pair up and gain wins easily which is unfair advantage. Also I've been having a hard time playing on weekends when trials are active cuz somebody have vpn and its causing me to lag. I've heard from some other players that some people with vpn setting is causing ddos. That needs to be looked into as well. There probably will be players reading this will most likely disagree just to defend the using of vpn setup. So do not reply cuz I won't reply back.

1 返信Here's a solution make an actual new season that includes actual seasonal activity with MM so you don't just copy paste a cancer mode from d1 so you can pretend there's something new
