Hell no. D2 does not need a battle royale game mode. It can barely handle 12 people in a crucible match how is it gonna handle 100? It would also be hell on pc with all of the cheaters.

That's true but a battle royale mode doesn't fit lore wise or gamely wise. Menu load times on consol are awful so managing an inventory would be difficult. Not to mention what happens to all of your gear, you can't really shove it all in a players vault because a fair portion of the player base has close to if not full vaults and full slots on their characters. Not to mention how would you handle weapons? Or player levels/subclasses? A battle royale mode would cause more problems for the game and an insane amount of work and effort from bungie for a mode that maybe what, 1 percent of the community wants and realistically only .5 percent would actually play? It isn't worth the effort man and goes against what Destiny is. Bungie wants a game where you can take your God killing machine from the pve world to the pvp world seamlessly carrying all of your gear that's on you at that point with you. Battle royale completely goes against that. It just doesn't fit Destiny.
