Most exotics now have Catalysts and I feel Malfeasance, Thorn, and Last Word need them as well.
Malfeasance's should give it Vorpal Weapon.
And Thorn's Anti Barrier rounds and Unrenlenting.
While Last Word should get some thing that improves its functionality over all.

I agree with what others have said, Last Word deserves Opening Shot and/or Auto Loading Holster.

I’d bet that Thorn will be getting a catalyst “relatively” soon. The poll that was taken on Reddit about “which gun do you want to have a catalyst” in response to dmg’s question shows Thorn as the most desired. Plus as others have suggested, it technically already had a catalyst in the records, just not implemented.

I wonder how many people in here saying these guns are OP are using Gnawing Hunger. Every one of these hand cannons loses to a mediocre auto rifle currently, with the single exception of TLW at [i]extremely[/i] close range. This community is a joke.

From 10 to 15 seconds. +10 stability + 10 range. The Last Word catalyst: Enhanced killing wind (lasting longer then ‘normal’ killing wind). Reloading after kill gives a temp boost in mobility, handeling and range for a short duration while continuing to wield the weapon. +2 mag extension. Oh and bungie fix tarrabah for Chryst sake! Tarrabah catalyst: increase the time on ravenous beast from 7 to 10 seconds. +9 mag extension. (To 40 in the mag) Chaperone catalyst: Icarus Grip activated! Extend the time duration of roadborn from 3 to 5 seconds.

Agreed, and I don’t give a damn about pvp implications. Damn side of the game has taken enough from us. Malfeasance Catalyst should reduce the detonation threshold from 5 to 3 or increase the mag to 20 to grant a fourth cluster. Thorn in my world would have an increased soul devourer duration, up from 10 to 15 seconds and the burn would last slightly longer too. But if they are too afraid to do any of that then they could increase speed at which souls move towards you and increase the distance at which they start to move. Last Word could have a higher magazine and/or auto loading holster. I feel like auto loader would fit perfectly with Last Word.

Thorn catalyst data exists in the code it gives the gun stability and range as for the others it’d be nice. Malfeasance should get a perk that makes the explosion rounds proc sooner instead of five shots how it is maybe three shots. Last word just needs some boost to stability and that’s it

When i saw that i was like bruh. Im still like bruh. Have you seen last word in pvp yet, or thorn. They absolutely destroy. If a catalysts came out for either of them, do you know how many people would become shotgun and hand cannon? EVERYONE THAT PLAYS PVP those two guns are already pretty good, AR is just easier to use, so everyone does use it. Last word is pretty much the easiest hand cannon to use because of hip fire grip buff. precision hits every time if you can drag your crosair onto their soon to be dead body, thorn with its ability proc'd is just destroy everything. Pve its not that bad either. Lumina is never going to be used in pvp for anyone trials ready just because of how dog it is. This gun rewards your teamates for you getting a kill. Not your rewarded, but your teamates. Now do you see how bad that sounds in a 1v1 situation like almost every trials game ever? Doesnt sound that great now does it? A catalyst for this that helps it with killing people would litterally do nothing to its base of what its doing. If you could hold reload to heal yourself with a oversheld. That would make it dare i say "pvp able" but untill then just dont think about the damn gun. Just use it in pve activitys where your teamates are bad and cant survive long enough to get those kills you would be nabbing from them, last i used the gun was in gos first encounter. The damage was almost the same as my sidearm. "Almost". This gun is basically useless, thats why its not in the meta. Its better than some others, just not as good as those that are meta right now for pve/pvp Witherhoard, suros, Xeno, Divinity, Thorn, Last word, its just not able to compare to these right now.

Apparently Malfeasance is getting a perk called Bigger Boom that causes a massive explosion from enemies that die to Explosive Shadow. Looks like TLW is getting a perk called High Noon that briefly improves precision damage after swapping to the gun. Thorn should get a perk that either increases the damage of the DoT or increases how long it lasts.

Yes, no and no. Melfeasance could use a little bit of a boost to see more play outside of Gambit. Thorn does NOT need to return to the broken state that it was in during D1. Getting hit by it meant that you couldn't see anything and that you burned to death. TLW has been broken long enough. Let it require some skill to use.

Re: Malfeasance yeah 4 shots would be busted. Had some replies about LW catalyst. Both quickdraw and icarus would be nice. Thorn final round would be a nice callback and a simple perk to implement without too many overpowered implications.
