Halo Infinite reveal- what are you expecting to see boys
Alright ladies and gents, Halo Infinite is less than 5 months away- what are you expecting from the trailers so far?
Also- what is the ABSOLUTE worst case scenario that you can think of that would immediately kill all hope you have for Infinite

5 通の返信My expectations are very low and [i]that's[/i] what they need to change. They need to absolutely blow people's minds with trailers, gameplay, ect because if not I don't have much faith in Infinite. I, like many people, have been continuously disappointed in everything 343 has done culminating with their ultimate insult, Halo 5. Can you tell I'm still salty about that? lol They still have a chance to make things good. After all, their recent and continuous work on Halo MCC for the last 6 months has been surprisingly good. They just really [b]really[/b] need to learn their lessons from all this and make Infinite better than anything they've done so far.

A shitshow or a disappointment, to he honest. The fact that zero gameplay has been shown with so little time left is a huge red flag to me. Its a new game engine on a new console. The fact they aren't eagerly showing off actual game play gives me the impression that it isnt ready to be shown off. >worst case scenario? Overly aggressive lootboxes. Gameplay affecting lootboxes ala warzone have no place in a pvp game. Especially in a flag ship first party console exclusive in my opinion.

1 返信Like others have said, I don't have high expectations. (I don't even have an Xbox one nor do I have any current plans to get one.) But, I think it would be great if the flood came back. The halo franchise needs a great villain and none have been as terrifying and as menacing as the flood. A new outbreak could escalate things in a good way as I could see Cortana and her guardians duking it out with the contagion, while the covenant and unsc are caught in between.

1 返信Really looking forward to learning more about Halo Infinite's story. As far as multiplayer goes, I just hope gameplay feels more like Halo 2 and 3 less like halo 4 and 5. Also there's rumors that the Halo ring will be fully explorable, so that'll be cool if that ends up being true.

21 通の返信I hope it’s not open-world. So many games are OW these days and I don’t think it will work well with the halo formula. I’m also hoping they won’t act like halo 5’s story never existed. I know it was bad but just forgetting about will only making worse. If Locke/Osiris/Blue Team aren’t even mentioned in Halo infinite it would be very strange.

I'm very optimistic, 343i has been on a role with fixing MCC and bringing it to PC let alone their communication with the community. I feel that 343i has a good grasp on what the community wants and hopefully we'll see that on the 23rd. I can honestly appreciate what 343i has done even though they've stumbled a lot

Also, playable Elites and the return of the Customs browser. Only in multiplayer/Forge, though. Having all that stuff in Campaign would be a nightmare.

2 通の返信Master Chief running around with a cane and finds other "walking assisted" devices that will help him from getting to A-B. Let there be lots of different kinds, canes to walkers to wheelchair. Have some motorized scooters in there. Gets an overshield from viagra or something, you get the point. A bifocal hud display, them eyes get tired. A new armor ability called snooze.

I don't expect anything when it comes to 343. Halo 4 and 5 were massive disappointments for different reasons, and neither of them had a good art style. While they might have "fixed" or at least improved the art style from what they've shown us so far, I'm still skeptical as to the rest of it. Worst case scenario? That the story and multiplayer suck ass, making it literally worse than halo 4 and 5. And they still don't give us another Invasion game mode. How damn hard is it to just copy it from Reach? It doesn't even need to be Spartans Vs Elites, it would work fine with just Spartans.
