Iron Banner ruined by new matchmaking
Just had my worst IB session ever. I play solo here are the session stats
11 matches, 54 kills, 0.62KD , 0.82KDA
didn't even get to complete Red Hot Iron.
4 mercies, playing against 6 stacks multiple times.
Every game I'm being stomped, or the opposition is stomped before I see them. Every game there are 3 or 4 players who are way better than everyone else. This season Bungie has said that I can't have fun playing Trials, IB, all the other PVP lists apart from Survival and Elimination because I am not good enough.
So this game I've loved since the first Christmas of D1 will no longer get my support. Bungie will get no more funds from me. You tubers will get no more views from me. This is my last post on these forums. Its a very sad day for me but it is what it is.

1 返信parallelishにより編集済み: 7/1/2020 1:01:46 PMi rarely play pvp anymore (just for milestones) but i played quit a few IB matches yesterday and just about all of them were very close games, with only one mercy. and i was usually at the bottom of my team, i never had any exceptional games but they were all pretty close. I know this clearly isn't the experience everyone is having but just thought I'd share.

You went nowhere with the SBMM hamster wheel system where you only ever play against same skilled people, that isn't normal! From sports to every other fps game you wont see this bs lag system grow up as a FPS player! Find like minded people form a team and get better naturally and stop the crying!

1 返信iron banner is literally the exact same as its always been. 6 stacks vs solo players and cbmm or sbmm has not changed that and probably never will.

True. I don't know what formula IB is using, but it's generating mismatches right and left. I always get creamed, so it's not about me. It's about the individual players with 10+ efficiency ratings that I see in many if not most matches.

4 通の返信I was going to play Iron Banner to level up a bit, but what's the point knowing here shortly it's all going to be capped, it's the same gear, etc... and we will have to start over for the 5th time when the next expansion is released? Not to mention changing SBMM to CBMM with power level advantage, no thanks, I'll save myself the stress and play The last of us part 2.

So tell me, if it was about wanting to not take the games so seriously, why is every game filled with sweat now? Sorry, I don't buy this bullshit. What was actually meant was "I'm tired of facing people who are of my skill, I want easy wins". I'm not the best pvp'er in the world. Knew that even with SBMM. But this? Yeah, no thanks. I avoid pvp for a reason. It's not fun having to use the exact same builds season after season, just because the top 1% of players are using these builds as well and you need a fighting chance. If you support CBMM still, I hope you enjoy having sweaty games still, because casuals like me will be quitting this shitfest very soon. Know why Trials was, and still is, shit? Casuals left that game mode. Same thing will happen here.

2 通の返信That’s the Hunt mechanic. IB matches ended in stomps just as much in SBMM as the do now. The lock mechanic has always made this happen. Poor Gametype design

Great job truly... but I paid to enjoy this game, I paid a season pass based upon experiences I had over the last two years and that is SBMM... I HATE THIS IRON BANNER.. it is by far the worse version of it EVER... (HEY YOU NOTICE HOW FAST THEY TURNED OFF THE ARTIFACT POWER WHEN THE PVP GODS COMPLAINED<<<... oh hey I might get stomped by an average PVP person.. .b/c he is a lost sector trolllll... wah wah wah... 18 通の返信Here's something you should consider. You probably think that your average because of sbmm. But now that they've released you into the wild you realize you're not average. In fact, if sound like you're pretty awful. PvP is supposed to be competitive. You're not going to get babied because you are not good. I'll leave you with this: GIT GUD

1 返信Am I the only one not really having much of a problem in Iron Banner? I play it solo and while i did go up against a few more stacked teams I didn't feel like it was too bad. I did fight alongside a guy in full trials gear which felt pretty good (he was also playing solo) Out of curiosity what platform is everyone playing on where CBMM is causing problems?

the problem in CBMM is when you face 6 players who are connecting to each other from all over the world , does anyone believe they all have good connections , all it takes is one player on that team to be lagging & we have a total lag fest. which makes CBMM a total joke as it seems to be encouraging Lag
