Bungie, if you ever do decide to bring SIVA back...
Please for the love of all that is holy play more into its aspects as a TechnoPlague. It would make it so much more interesting and at the same time very different from the Taken, because the Taken require a Tak[i]er[/i]. With the Fallen now looking to wield Dark powers it’s beginning to look like SIVA is just going to be left by the wayside, and as an avid follower of the Nanotechnology this makes me incredibly sad.
Remember the Remnants of the Iron Lords back in Iron Tomb? Those were so incredibly cool and terrifying at the same time (if you take a close look you can see that SIVA actually mutated their flesh, and they’re [i][b]smiling[/b][/i].) if we got more SIVA-infected guardians and other races that would make it a viable threat to consider in Sol.

4 通の返信they're bringing back the cosmodrome so SIVA could still be there, but i wouldn't be surprised if its not. also if Vault of Glass is coming back then surly Venus is coming back in some capacity unless the raid is just selectable from the destinations tab with no planet to click on first. either way im sure bungie will mess both of these up somehow.

1 返信Rasputin reprogrammed SIVA to attack the Iron Lords. Wouldn’t it be cool if, now that we all chill, he reprogrammed it so that we could wield it? SIVA subclasses anyone?

It would be cool to see SIVA find its way into the countless Warmind labs we have throughout our system but since they are getting rid of half the game by destroying the planets I don't think that is possible

It's entirely plausible that sometime in year 5 (assuming they have a 2 year cycle between adding and removing content for Vaults), we'll see the Plaguelands with Sepiks Perfected and/or Wretched Eye Strike or Wrath Of The Machine Raid. I will say, the '2 years' guess is based on my thoughts that EDZ will be vaulted in year 5 and Cosmodrome stays, replacing it as the Earth map when 'fully restored', as well as the Dreadnaught returning alongside Savathun and maybe re-adding King's Fall. But, that's about all we can hope for from lazydevelopers.net, I mean Bungie. Bear in mind, this is all a guess before you comment about how I'm an idiot. 😂

Siva is [i]much[/i] more interesting to me than the Hive so out of all of D1’s expansions I’d like to see this one explored a little more. It was a miracle technology designed to aid colonists and explorers that went rogue after Rasputin weaponized it, it definitely has the potential for more narrative. If it doesn’t come back though, I won’t be surprised. That’s par for the course for Bungie.

SIVA would be cool to have back, since a lot of the SIVA-related items were really cool. I fail to think of any possible way for SIVA to be re-integrated into Destiny 2. Maybe they could create some kind of anniversary event that unlocks items from previous years and from the original Destiny. May not sound probable, but it could work.

Im pretty sure siva will return some time in Y4. If you look at the evidence, we have a dlc focused on the fallen this fall and we will most likely defeat them which will force them to scatter and look for a new power source. Nessus isnt being vaulted, and failsafe does have siva on it, plus in an old vidoc on D2 before it launched, it showed a siva exodus strike variant. We have the cosmodrome returning, which could include the plague lands. With rasputin gone, there is nothing controlling it, making it ripe for the taking.

7 通の返信According to Destinypedia, the last remaining locations that contain SIVA have been placed on lockdown by the Vanguard - hence Eramis’s failed attempt to retrieve SIVA from Outbreak Perfected. Now that she has the darkness, she must not care about old human tech - now she can spite us. I could see them finding SIVA somewhere like the exodus black, hopefully we get new fallen forms, SIVA fallen, and darkness fallen in this new expansion. That will make up for a lack of a brand new darkness race yet
