Better Alternative To Sunsetting
Current seasonal gear should be affordable and easy to level up, with minimum restraints.
Older gear should cost more resources to level up, and require a specific currency that enables players to push their gear level caps up higher.
This is fair for everyone.

1 返信That change will do nothing. Sunsetting only matters for the more endgame players, and those endgame players will be able to easily upgrade those armour or weapons. Pointless post.

But if people have been playing for so long they have all the resources anyway. Also if grinding for something as good as recluse is less enjoyable and more tedious than upgrading an old recluse, the whole system falls apart.

1 返信I would prefer this over sunsetting. Question though does this apply to weapons and armor? Or just armor specifically? I feel they need to leave questline weapons alone, people worked hard for those and some arent as good as others on terms of finishing quests quickly A good example is myself in mountain top, even with the changes I struggled to get kills and relied on that mode that turned everything into swat from halo. I earned my mountian top and I'd like to keep it thank you, the fact bungie feels sunset is the best solution is mindboggling, I'd rather materials are expensive to level up my gear, that would make my choices more meaningful like they suggested millions of times

6 通の返信This doesn't really address the reasons they are sunsetting weapons though. They will still have to nerf PVE weapons more often because they affect the sandbox forever, and the weapon designers will still be shackled with having to build weapons around that fact that they will last forever and affect content forever. So they won't be able to get more creative, powerful options out there for us to try. Everything will be the same boring things we have now, because everything has to be kept that way since it never goes away.

Or make pinnacles and raid gear the weapons that stick out and so have only them sunset, then the average guns can stay. It's stupid that people argue that THEYRE bored with their loadout so I have to change mine now too...

I don’t need my vault sunset to try and use new things. If it’s good and I want it, I’ll go to any lengths to acquire it for my load outs. Your idea should get more attention.
