Occasionally I will hit targets pretty darn head on in Crucible and they take anyway from 60 to 90 damage. It isn't happening every time, but just often enough that it is very frustrating.

All hit detection is off. From titan, to words, to supers to warlocks a d hunters. Bungie doesnt want to put their time and resource into fixing stuff like that, it's easier to make bounties as content and fix things that benefit us in anyway.

This is especially irritating when they're five feet from you. The Daybreak projectiles don't register properly in close range. I literally punched a Dawnblade to death (when using my Titan ironically enough) while they were in their super.

Play nightstalker for 2 days, come back and ask about hit detection on your auto tracking super.
-
Good thing you move at hyperspeed and have about 10 more swings! Go look at striker and sentinel, trash supers since they never hit.
-
I think hit detection in general needs to be looked at. Most melee supers (for both Hunters and Titans) have some pretty terrible hit detection. Ex: Spectral and Sentinel require you to jump before you attack just to get a kill. Spectral got fixed for a while but it seems they ninja nerfed it while they were nerfing it.

I remember needing 1 sword kill to do a bunker bounty and I died, using almost all my ammo on 1 person who backpetals into no-hit-detection safety. I swiped them first from behind, ran off because I thought it landed... yeah no.

Yeah, dawnblade is only a 1hk if it hits centermass. It's inconsistent with top tree especially. I only have consitency with bottom tree because the added tracking.

Strafe glide? Lol Get off top tree and get on bottom if youre so concerned about your super.
