If it is flat, would it actually be a planet?

What if, it were caught perfectly in between 2 suns that were orbiting each other? It wouldn't be flat, but it might be oblong, like a giant space turd. Got curious and googled it before I posted. Apparently we know of a dwarf planet called haumea that fits that description.
