NEW CONSOLE CHANGES
If they aren't dropping D3 anytime soon, then they are really going to need to up the frame rate when the next console drops. Going from 60 FPS to 30 between games is disheartening. They also need to ad a FOV slider and the ability to differentiate ADS sensitivity and look around sensitivity. On console they limit us so much and I personally do not want to switch to PC just yet.

If you bought a PS4 for $400 when it came out and then paid $60 a year since then you'd have paid almost $800 by now. Maybe it's not for everyone but it does also open up a bunch of other options like moba, rts, and sim games as well being able to emulate a ton of older games for free. You can also upgrade at your own pace.

1 返信The game lags already, I don't think it could handle 60 fps with a different fov, sadly.

They have GOT to add some real options for aiming, like higher possible look sensitivity, some sensitivity curve choices like a Linear curve, dead zone settings, a disable option for aim assist and aim smoothing, this MUST be done if I'm to spend another cent on this franchise.

7 通の返信I’m going to get this out of the way first, I truly hope Bungie releases a performance mode of d2 for x1x users as well as x series users. For the one x/pro 1080p 120hz and x series 1440p 120hz. But pro and x1x are currently locked to 30fps and if history teaches us anything it’s not happening. It’s going to be 2022 or 23 before these new consoles will be utilized by most AAA titles. Why not just switch to PC, it has everything you could want and then some.

21 通の返信This game could easily work at 60fps on ps4 pro and 1x. at 1080p. They are not even doing that they won't do that for next gen as well. Their excuse is, better hardware players would have more advantage. Yea, thats life. Can you ban scuffed controllers? No.

They may need an entirely different engine for these changes. As far as I’m aware, the engine is quite old already. An FOV slider also renders more of the world, which can substantially drop FPS. If it’s in your budget, I’d recommend looking into switching to PC.

1 返信60 fps would be nice but I don't think this generation of consoles can handle the pressure of rendering games in 60fps, but the next generation like Scarlet and 5 could be able to run games at 60 frames

26 通の返信All I’m hoping for is that on next gen I can play at 1080p, 60fps and 105 fov with UI times close to PC I don’t care about 4k/8k or HDR I don’t need 120fps I literally just want the same fov as my PC, with a nice smooth 60fps, and the ability to swap weapons without needing to take a bathroom break while waiting for my menu to load

12 通の返信People talking like 60frames is good. It's not. Try going from 144+ to 60, it's waaay worse.

11 通の返信Gotta accept that D2 on current gen systems is just going to either remain in it's current state or get worse performance wise. It's what happens when outdated hardware stays around longer than it should.

I used to think this would be a given for D3 back when 2 first rolled out, but given just how often Bungie has face planted with 2 thus far, I could see them porting 2 to next gen and doing nothing with it or just half assing it.

6 通の返信I would hope bloom to be gone as well, for a future update or even if they do something on the ps5. Hell even dedicated servers would work too.

27 通の返信New-gen seems to be already announced and specs are pretty poor gamewise. If rumors are true then new consoles are already outdated: not nearly enough RAM and permanent storage. I'm pretty sure they will market it primarily as streaming devices.
