1st game of the night (Survival: Freelance) against 3 Warlocks with handheld, 2 LoW and 1 Erentil which mapped me from across the map (Rusted Lands), it was terrible, we lost 3-4, yeah close game but they killed us 90% with any of those things mentioned and their supers of course.
1st game, and already fed up for today with this sandbox with no sense.
If you bring trials back and with no significant changes to the sandbox, the game mode will be already feeling old and frustrating and it's going to be a fail and people is going to start quiting the game for real this time and for good (like in CoS or worse). Because this is survival, I can lose games, yes like this one, yes it sucks but maybe I can reach Legend (been stuck for almost 2 weeks in Mythic 3 because of these type of matches) but in Trials you are not allowed to lose (you should bring back also the boons from D1; specially the mercy one) any match so what do you expect the loadouts to be? Of course HH and LoW, Erentils, yes there will be super good players that use other stuff but come on, even they complain about how broken these things are.
Please, before bringing back Trials of Osiris, check, but check well the sandbox and make some changes, significant changes so ToS would feel like a refresh for the game, and also check the cheaters, there are a lot of posts about cheaters that have been doing it for months and nothing happens.
I suggest you do that if not, the game is going to fail for good.

3 通の返信Don't bring Trials back at all. It's a cancer on this franchise. Just like the rest of PvP. Nothing but cheaters and nerf crybabies.

1 返信This is why no one wants trials back. Hell it’s not even back yet and you’re already trying to break the game to accommodate it.

4 通の返信The only way to fix pvp in destiny is to remove it. Their pvp glory days died a decade ago

I agree that PvP needs fixing but I think that the main issue is matchmaker: - The current matchmaker attempt to create 2 balanced teams but ignores the difference of skill of players inside a team. - The current matchmaker seems to mostly measure "skill" as a team measure, based on wins by the team. It is NOT based on the real ability of the individual. This results in good and bad players, well equipped and poorly equipped players... all mixed in the same matches, causing many problems for both good and bad players. - The current matchmaker has horrible memory. It seems to only remember win stats per game. So, when a bad player A better solution would be to not measure wins but actual performance of the individual in the match. Lots of kills = more skill. Fewer kills = less skill. Maybe not the ONLY measurement but certainly something that needs much increased weight in the algorithm. And of course, track the player's performance for the last 5-10 games on the database, so that when performance changes due to equipped gear the player get reranked into the "current gear" level instead of his long-term performance history. Why? Mainly because it would put players with others who perform similarly: - Hackers (with ridiculous results) with other hackers. - Good players or players with OP equipment with others in the same situation. - Bad players and PvE players doing quests with others getting the same results. That should stop the frequent complaints about "this weapon is OP" or "this character has 0HK skill" or "I am being saddled with noobs" or "I can't get my crucible quests done". Better for virtually all players.

5 通の返信Trials also can not be free to everyone. If they make it free to everyone then all people are gonna do is make burner accounts and d-dos/ cheat their way to flawless in order to access it you have to have the season and shadow keep.

5 通の返信Destiny's PVP has always being bad, there are si much lag/connexion issues, the balance is just terrible and the game is full of cheaters and sweaters. There are reasons why Bungie remove this game mode, because PVP is bas and but trial is reserved to 0,005% of the player base. Character's power will be activated probably, which means hard core players will have an advantage, not doing raid and do not have the max power is not a problem right now, it will with trial. To be honest, i miss trial a little, i would like so much to have the impulse rifle ans the titan armor set, but i wish trial will be a PVE activity. Destiny is a PVE game and PVP is broken beyond repair, there are so much no brain weapons like Jotunn that will make trial terrible. In the same time i do no want to see weapons like yotunn being nerf because they are so good in PVE

1 返信That’s why they haven’t brought back, because PvP is a lost cause. Why do you think we are forced to do PvP in PVE quests. So that people are made to, not out of choice. Pvp in Destiny and Destiny 2 has always been bad and broken, now they just accepted it.

I thought of a possible solution to HH supernova last night - it should cause splash damage to the user. It’s crazy to me that 2 players standing close enough together can be ohk by this but yet the user can let go of this thing at point blank and take no damage?! If it did splash damage to the user depending on how far away their opponents are and had the chance to kill them if they released it at point blank, it would still be OP because of the damage and range, but would make warlocks have to be a little more cautious and not be able to run whole matches just using it over and over. I’m sure regardless of what bungie does though, if they make any changes to HH supernova that nerfs it even the slightest, warlocks are gonna flood the internet with salt🧂

2 通の返信They will, because all those 3 pvp streamers need the income. They failed at real competitive games so now they need trials to milk paid carries from the community
