TheArtistにより編集済み: 1/21/2020 1:56:29 PMYes. As I'm downvoted, name called, and insulted. Which only PROVE the correctness of my original argument. :)) So please..... ....continue. Every nasty, hateful, and disrespectful word out of your mouths that doesn't address my actual argument, just proves me right. This litte shit-show you kids (and adults still acting like children) feel compelled to stage? IS my point.

Kelly, you don’t do yourself any favours on here. If you’re constantly downvoted, perhaps you ought to consider why that might be. I have also seen your name referenced on other threads you’re not even in about people anticipating you arguing with them. You don’t get listened to by shouting the loudest. As I said in response to some of your previous posts, I used to really listen to some of your views but I find I agree less and less now.
-
TheArtistにより編集済み: 1/20/2020 3:02:39 PMWhy do people always assume that you only disagree with them because you don’t understand them? I got your point. I disagree with you because I don’t consider that point legitimate. You are making an emotional argument not a principled one. I’ve actually used the weapon in combat, and it’s a very solid weapon. More range and hits harder than Lord of Wolves. Which has been one of my favorites. Also people were -blam!- about how much of a disappointment Divinity was at first. Because it’s become the default setting of this community.
-
No I didn't a assume you missed the point, your response told me that, sarcasm to prove a point means its not legitimate imo. Your of the opinion whatever bungie puts out we should be greatful for. You are always combative and never seem to acknowledge the other side unless its *legitimate* to you. Its fine to disagree, but to be toxic from the outset?
And the complaining begins. There is just no pleasing you people.
^^ thats how you get the negative response you got from the majority. You don't see most points as 'legitimate' so why should i see yours?
Because it’s become the default setting of this community.
Why do you think that is? Why do you think the community is so negative to bungie now-a-days? I used to be like you, having faith in bungie, that everything was fine, bungie would get better, that they do actually listen to us. But that all went on Final Assault. Bungie is losing the trust and faith of the community. That, you can bet on.

TheArtistにより編集済み: 1/20/2020 3:28:59 PMWrong from start to finish. I’m calling people out for their expectations. People aren’t mad because Bungie did something wrong here. This puzzle was an amazing piece of work that took a crowdsourced community almost a week to solve. The raw creativity that went into its design was amazing. By people are pissing and moaning because they HYPED THEMSELVES AND CREATED EXPECTATIONS FOR THEMSELVES AS TO A REEARD THAT THE GAME COULDNT REALISTICALLY MEET. And had no track record of meeting. Since Bungie didn’t create those expectations (they didn’t) and didn’t agree to meet them (they didn’t) then it is ridiculously unreasonable and unfair to attack them for failing to meet them, It like me bad mouthing you for failing to show up for a meeting with me. Only I scheduled the meeting and didn’t tell you about it. So you not only didnt agree to be there...you didn’t even know there was a there. This is why gamers are so cynical and toxic. Because as a group we do this to devs all the time..,and then we wonder why they don’t want to talk to us It’s because we do THIS kind of shit.
-
They did create the expectations. They dated bastion would be out on the 28th jan So we RIGHTFULLY expected it to be out on the 28th jan. Why should we assume any different? Therefore it is logical to assume this would of been anything other than bastion. I agree that the way we got there was fantastic. But the reward was pure jabait. They could of done better...so much better.
-
1. Because we have access to a TIME MACHINE!!’ 2. The last time Bungie gave us a puzzle—one that wasn’t nearly this complex—WE FAILED TO SOLVE IT...and they were left trying to improvise a back up plan. FOR JUST ONE SECOND. Just ONE SECOND, stop looking at this from “I want” and “I’m owed”..,, and just look at what it took to make this possible and all the issues and possibilities that had to be planned for. The Center of the Universe isn’t where you happen to be standing. Bungie didn’t create your expectations. YOU DID. And your mad because Bungie didn’t meet those expectations. Expectations they had NO IDEA existed.
-
1. Your sarcasm shows you have nothing else to say. 2. And niobe labs event failed because it locked PAID content that led on to better things. Things we needed as a playerbase. Bungie opened burgusia early as a result. We still solved it. It is very clear that unless someone's point is alined with yours, you don't really have anything of value to contribute. Bungie did set the expectations in the season road map, you can't say you weren't expecting bastion to drop on the 28th when they themselves put it on the 28th. Either your blind...or worse. And to compare niobe labs to this is a joke. Everyone COULD of contributed here and most likely did. Niobe labs needed to have you know 3 swordsmiths from france, norse and Japan. Your telling me this is common knowledge? Last thing, how long do you think it would of taken the community if streamers hadn't of been around at all? Not everyone uses the social platforms at all times. My guess? Probably a month or longer. Destiny is around because of streamers. For good and for bad.
-
I respond to absurdity with sarcasm. How else do you respond to someone who is complaining about getting something EARLIER THAN EXPECTED?!?!! How else do respond to some so incredibly self-absorbed that his entire argument boils down to: Bungie should read my mind and know exactly what **I** want, and give it to me. Sorry. But the world doesn’t work that way. The only person who is ever going to nurture you that way is a parent. ...and only then if you’re lucky enough to get a good one. After that your happiness is your own responsibility. And if your going to get mad about people failing to meet expectations you manufactured out of thin air? You are setting yourself up for an unnecessarily unhappy life. Because the entire world—-and not just Bungie—-is going to endlessly disappoint you.
-
TheArtistにより編集済み: 1/20/2020 4:20:35 PMI get downvoted because I don’t buy into the Blame Bungie For Everything hate train....and the immaturity that fuels it. And I really don’t care if I get downvoted to Hell and back. Being popular stopped mattering yo me ages ago. And how does one lose an argument to someone whose only point is Other people need to read my mind and give me want I want. To anyone who has actually run a business, the whole notion of someone actually being mad about getting some EARLIER than advertised and being able to enjoy it earlier than expected is roll-on-the-floor laughing funny. As that is actually seen by reasonable people as a good thing. You can’t lose an argument to someone who doesn’t have a principled argument and just going on raw emotion. He’s mad that Bungie didn’t meet his expectations. But Bungie didn’t create them, and didn’t agree to meet them. So he can be mad. But he is being unreasonable and unfair.
-
But bungie did create those expectations though, by saying we get bastion on the 28th of January, everybody thought the result of the corridors of time would be something new because nobody expected bastion for another week, bungie created those expectations, bungie failed to deliver.
-
Thats not the point, like i said, its nice yes we got the item early, however everyones expectations was it’d be something else from the puzzle due to the fact bungie had advertised that we were getting that a week later, so everyone thought sweet two items, now if they had simply not put bastion on the roadmap, everything’d have been fine
-
So if i ignore the advertisement, pay money blindly without looking at it i won’t be annoyed by the result of this puzzle? Now to anyone who does this Kelly, well thats just roll-on-the-floor-laughing-funny. Thats a completely flawed way to look at it “Bungie lied with their advertisement but its ok just don’t look at it izi thats your fault you’re mad because you looked at an advertisement for a product you bought and believed them, not their fault for lying” jesus man
-
Smh. When did Bungie tell you any of this? All they did was put a date on a calendar. They never promised you anything else. Everything else you created in your own mind. None of that is anything Bungie promised, or agreed to, None of it. No matter how reasonable it may sound to you.
-
However by putting a date on a calendar thats advertising we get that thing, on that specific date, so when something happens prior to that date the last thing anyone thinks is, oh it’ll be that unreleased quest we get in a weeks time. They think “we get a new item from this puzzle AND bastion in a week”
