Gun was slated to drop on the 28th, they release a puzzle/quest nearly 2 weeks in advance where reward is unclear. Community has been repeatedly asking for more Black Spindle like experiences since that happened in D1. Bungie at any point in time couldve come out and said "hey the reward for this quest is the exotic we already revealed" People love the shit out of this game and their community so yeah theyre gonna be burnt when bungie sits in the corner watching them eat this shit up knowing full well they chose not to deliver. People let their expectations go crazy but this game used to feed that, people were hoping for Vex to come back, even necrochasm but literally any other new gun couldve sufficed but god forbid people have an imagination right? Doesnt take that much brain power to understand that but i broke it down for ya just in case.
