Rather than throwing down a stick with a skull, make the raid banner actually look like a banner. I think it would bring some use and purpose of the clan flag in our inventory if the raid banner was our clan banner. Especially if two separate clans were to put down their banner at the same time. This would give our clan flag some type of digital physicality rather than being something on display in the character screen. Putting your own clan flag down during a raid or on the moon would be a lot awesome than just a skull pole. There’s a certain impact it would have similar to leaving your mark on the world.
