Strikes! We need more of them. A lot more of them. They need to offer farmable unique weapons and armor. They were the most enjoyable part of D1 for many. Now, they are an afterthought.
And not every Boss needs to have mandatory phases. That feels arbitrary at this point. You’re such a fan of recycled content, might as well bring back some D1 Bosses.

All D1 strikes could be brought back as “simulations” in the infinite forest giving us more content with 0 effort. All the strike specific loot could come with it too. Just apply random rolls with current D2 perks 🤷🏼♂️

The more that gets added to the game the more strikes we get :) If you remember Vanilla Destiny had barely any strikes but by the end of the game the strikes playlist was freaking amazing. I agree more strikes would be wonderful but it's not easy to develop such a long mission experience. They have to create, design and program the whole idea of the strike. Agreed on getting more if possible haha.

2 通の返信Strikes, as far as I'm concerned, are some of the worst content in the game. They're cool the first time through, and they bring us some gorgeous landscapes, and some incredible music, but the gameplay is hardly repeatable. Bosses that consider simply going immune being a mechanic, 90% of the content is just either running past or killing absolutely braindead, nonthreatening ads.

They put mandatory phases to increase grind. The dev's weren't able to gauge how powerful guardians in game could get or what they would exploit. Phases are to prevent us melting bosses in 2 seconds flat. Personally I am okay with this. Because I imagine they only had two choices on the matter. 1.) Nerf Izanagi or 2.) Add phases to bosses to prevent melting of boss health too quickly I'm glad they picked the second option. Nerfing Izanagi would be... Annoying to say the least.

I want to see strikes used as a place to experiment with mechanic concepts. Even just the base. It'd be cool to see what unique stuff they could come up with if they put the basis of the mechanic as fun over difficulty in this instance. Its just a strike. And definitely add more strike specific weapons. Can we like get an update to the existing ones please? I really would like a Rapid Hit/ Firing Line Silicon Nueroma.

I agree, they need to shake up the way we play strikes. Bring back heroic strikes with the skeleton key, and strike scoring, like they did in D1. Or, come up with something entirely new and fresh, like I said, shake it up and make them where we will want to run them over and over again. Might as well re-master those D1 strikes and plop them in D2, I certainly wouldn't mind. The more the merrier, but I think I would like to be in control of what strikes I'm playing so I don't keep doing the same strike over and over.

1 返信It would also be nice to have a strike rank, like in pvp and gambit. A strike rank could contribute to future quests, offer materials on reset and its always nice to track your progression

Agreed. Strikes have needed attention for a while now. And can we knock off the stupid “boss phases” crap from the strikes? Leave that for the raid fights. I spend more times floating or mopping up ads in the Fanatic strike. You can catch me leaving that one almost every time. Same with the Corrupted strike. The novelty wears off after the first couple runs. After that those strikes are tedious
