I'm starting to miss Activision...

Just remember what fanboys told us a few months ago: When Bungie takes over from Activision there will be more quality control. When Bungie takes over there will be more interactions with us and taking out feedback seriously. When Bungie takes over there will be more updates to the sandbox more frequently. When Bungie takes over there will be even more content than previous add-ons than when Activision was in charge. When Bungie takes over they will charge less for more content. When Bungie takes over there will be better materials and economies. When Bungie takes over they won't gauge us for money and put more items behind a bigger paywall. When Bungie takes over Eververse will be less moneygrubbing than before and we will have more Bright Dust than ever. And yet here we are....with one of the worst expansions in Destiny history and you have to pay extra for all its content. Content, I might add, that can be taken away on whim at any moment in time. Bungie is building a game that is no longer built on satisfaction and fun, but one that is based around FOMO and Monitization and it's quite pathetic.

Honestly I'm lost for words right now. All these weeks leading up to this final assault and all they do is re-skin the final boss... Bungie had the time, resources, manpower and funding to make this seasons ending a big one but decided to stick to their tradition, being lazy. At this point I'm not even sure if Bungie has the talent to pull of a big season finale, it seems way too out of reach for them I've been thinking on a theory for some now and it's starting to line up. I think Bungie knows this game is dying, Destiny as a franchise is a sinking ship. Yeah sure there's lots of players at the moment but the streamers and Youtubers are slowly dropping this game, the OG players are gone and the majority of players are new light players thanks to F2P but even that's hardly holding them in. Since D2 launched its had its ups and downs and we've all had great times over the years but the truth is Bungie are out of their depth. They have a great game and story idea but the team is no where near skilled enough to execute it hence why things aren't just unbalanced but ridiculously broken. A clear example is OEM, for an entire YEAR the community has asked for its Nerf but rather than change a few lines of code with a hotfix Bungie would rather refresh Eververse and bolster their pockets. A company that prioritised profits over their supporters, I understand that companies need to make money that's a no brainer but there has been a very clear disregard for Destiny's community. I think their milking it for all its worth before its inevitable collapse. That would explain the sudden price spikes in Eververse. There is simply no excuse why Bungie has pushed everyone aside like they have. A dedicated community that gets shafted time and time again and still has hopes for Bungie. Anyone who refutes this needs to go and play Vex offensive and see the re-skin finale we've all been waiting for. It's actually a joke. We need to remember this isn't the same Bungie that brought us Halo, this is a different team altogether. ♡RIP Destiny♡

What should have happened was final assault was just like regular vex offensive, but after killing the minotaur you go through portal to different location. There you take on the undying mind with completely different mechanics. The rewards for beating it have a different loot pool with new gear and weapons. Make users want to keep playing it.

Bungie has lost creativity, they probably have a bunch of cry baby millenials doing the content. "Its to hard, this is the best I can do, now I want more money". Bungie has become the McDonald's of the gaming industry. McBungie

Let it out friend... I did the other day when I saw the latest nerfs... they just keep doing the same ol stuff, gets tiring doesn’t it? I have discovered so many different games out there I have not noticed because of this mess, almost thankful for their incompetency, done with it.

It costs $10... The seasonal model is way better than it was before.

Can you believe there are adults that develop this game professionally and this is their "best effort." (Or the best they can be bothered to phone in.) There's probably 100 replies to this each with multiple, reasonable, easy to implement little tidbits that would show Bungie gave even a half a shit and could anticipate what their player base wants.

Im looking at my old gear in D1 and its getting me excited to go back and play even more than the current state of Destiny 2.weapons and armor with ornaments earned from raid challenges.the kingsfall heroic warlock armor is one of the greatest looking armor ever.aesthetically pleasing.truly encapsulates the spirit of the world of Destiny.i figured Destiny 2 was just going to evolve everything we worked so hard for.this is going to end up another game of thrones s8 finale disaster.dont D&D us plz.

In a way, i'm actually quite glad that Final Assault failed. I've been trying to ween myself off of Destiny for quite some time now, so the fact that this "event" fell flat on its ass has only encouraged me keep away from this mess and play other, [i]better[/i] games. Congratulations, Bungie. Fool me for five years, shame on me. Fool me for another five years? [b]Shame on you.[/b]
