Rooks, fantastic work. I have to say, you've certainly got an excellent way of describing scenery. You can really imagine all the scenery looking frostbitten and old, the whole imagery of 'old and half-decayed, barely held together by bitter cold' is really clear and distinct. I love it. I can't wait to see more of that. The feeling of dread hanging over the whole situation also gives a ton of really great tension even when the reader isn't even sure what's going on- details like the blood splatters, overturned furniture... it all builds up really nicely.
