I'm not normally one to complain about difficulty, but since I got back into destiny, the nightfalls feel like a nightmare to do. Now before anyone goes overboard with the "git gud" and "they're not that bad", hear me out. I've gotten the 100k multiple times, but as a player that has not played since forsaken, there have been a lot of changes that I'm not particularly...fond of. The burn no longer assists the player as well (actually...none of the modifiers ever give any positive effects to the player. They are always negative). The champions are constant and a bit op on higher difficulties (barrier champions regen their entire health bar in fractions of seconds unless under constant fire, and in certain places I've encountered no less than 4 barrier champions at once, which drained our ammo and held us up for 10 full minutes, plus wipes). I completely understand that the 100k is pinnacle and not meant to be easily attained, but this is where my real issue lies. I'm trying to work on getting the 100k nightfall using all calus raid stuff for the tribute in the tribute hall. I physically cannot equip barrier rounds or unstoppable rounds to be of any help to my teammates, and the old nightfall system got nerfed with shadowkeep so the modifiers never grant enough point modifiers to get 100k by the end of the strike. It isn't something that is pressing for me, so I'm not genuinely worried about never getting it because I'm sure itll happen eventually, but after spending days worth of time doing nightfalls each week using armor and weapons that I dont like using and being at a disadvantage, the 100k with calus themed weapons and armor is a bit out of reach. If the nightfall didnt have to be completed using weapons and armor in EVERY slot, that would be fine, but as for right now it's been pretty rough. Anyway, just my take.
