Bungie, the grind it takes to get a single piece of EP armor should be enough to get a base stat roll higher than a 45!
This armor should NOT drop any lower the like 52 considering what we have to do to get a single piece.
I get blues that drop 52 ffs.
The duplicates I get are bad enough, then I finally get a piece for my Warlock that isn't 3 gauntlets, 3 robes, or 3 bonds and it drops a 45!?https://youtu.be/AfEQnfrhQ_Y
Isn't this considered [i]END GAME[/i] loot?
My Hunter got 3 cloaks in a row and got a 4th on a different occurrence. 3 Helmets so far, still need a gauntlet, chest piece, and boots
My Titan still needs gauntlets after 4 helmets, 2 chest piece, 2 boots, 2 class items.
Edit: just ran another level 7 with my Titan, got another helmet... that's 4, still no gauntlets
Where is the bad luck protection?

3 elements to consider on top of stat rolls now. all basic armors absolutely must have an ornament matching their types. and for things like this with a 1/week lockout, absolutely must allow selecting element and locking it in. if i want the look of ep armor but need a dreaming city or moon set to meet a requirement for "wearing full set" and/or the slot for specific slot mods, there is absolutely no reason this should not be a thing. hell if i want to look like i am wearing a full set of tangleweb or prodigal i should be able to LOOK that way. but no, not even for cold hard cash. NONE of the basic armor appearances are available as ornaments. which means they have yet again demonstrated a full hardon for sabotaging their own design.
