Let's say that you dismantle a legendary piece of gear, like a weapon or armor piece, from your inventory and you get a Finest Matterweave to drop from it. If you are looking at your Guardian in your inventory as you obtain it, the Guardian will re-render real quickly and the Sparrow behind it will go transparent for a minute as it tries to re-render. Sometimes it seems to incorrectly render a default Guardian look of your respective class (the recent case being while I wore a Year 2 Solstice helmet and the current Festival of the Lost Skeletal ornaments as a Warlock, though that might not matter). This doesn't appear to happen with any other item in the game. I play on Xbox One. While I don't have any way to share video footage of it happening, you should be able to replicate this oddity as simply as I stated it above. This started happening when Shadowkeep first launched with its Guardian inventory UI update. Bungie, if you're concerned about how your game seems to be loading data right now, this might be worth checking out.
