We're continuing to collect Crucible feedback. Wanted to open the floor for your thoughts on Vostok.
This map in particular receives a range of feedback, from spawns to objective placement. Please lend your thoughts on the following:

I really like Vostok. There are multiple paths to each location on the map. It caters to short and long range weapons. And it feels overall balanced. I've never been spawn-killed on it. It might be a bit big for 3v3 if you ever try to put it into those playlists, but it's perfect for 6v6. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On a side note, I'd like to see Twilight Gap taken back out of the game. Not sure why [i]this[/i] map is one that made the jump from D1 to D2. Also, bring back Retribution. I'm not sure why it was taken out of rotation when there was nothing wrong with it.

I find this map particularly difficult to play on when matched with people from the other side of the planet with 200+ms ping, then again, i find it difficult to play on any map against people from the other side of the world with 200+ms ping. Its funny i have no trouble and more fun when I switch on my netduma to filter out hosts of more than 2000km distance which also seems to reduce ping to around 30ms for everyone in the lobby. I bet they enjoy those games as well!

You want feedback ? Fix PvP in general ! Don't allow players with sub par internet to even join PvP. It's ridiculous that we, the players have "clean up " PvP , when obviously you have all the data you need to bar them from even entering . Yet you wonder why the PvP population is dropping . People have a few poor experiences and move on. 5 + years, and it's still an hot mess.

I really like Vostok overall. It's a nice sniping/scout map. I like it in all modes except momentum control. I enjoy momentum control a lot, but if you get a group that can hold down that corner at C, it just turns into a game of waiting for somebody to leave. There is one out of map exploit on the cable platform near C, looking at A. I don't know how to get there but when someone does its quite annoying.

I enjoy the maps that are giant circles with a couple lanes in the middle the most. I like the more lane based maps the least. Never had any spawn issues there or noticed anyone exploiting anything I forgot to add that it’s one of the only maps to have both good sight lines and good cover

Really? It’s one of the few maps that has any character. Destiny is not an eSport. Maps should be fun and unique. This is an mmorpg where builds matter as much as skill. Quit pretending like we need expertly curated maps so that skilled snipers can have lanes and shotgun apes can have close quarters. Make unique, fun maps, and focus on spawn points and control points. Playtest your maps and understand if spawn points or control points cause a disadvantage. If they do, FIX THEM.

1 返信I did not like Vostok at all when D2 launched. Now it's one of my favorite maps in the game to play and honestly might be the best D2 map for 6v6 and especially Control. The spawns are fair. The heavy is really well placed. There are great places to play the map for both ranged and CQC players and the games are incredibly dynamic there vs a map like the current Alter of Flame where there's almost never map flips and one team gets spawn trapped at C all game.
