The problem is when the raids do get made to cater to the people who matchmake. Again, people will not use mics in matchmake, it will be pointless to add when you’ll join a raid and just leave. No point adding a pointless feature that won’t work.

Matchmaking would also be extremely toxic and a very miserable experience I don’t know why anyone would want to go through it. I’d say probably 1/20 runs on matchmaking would be successful, probably even less. “It’s optional” sure but it would turn a lot of people away from raiding instead of towards it because of how toxic it would be. And you probably wouldn’t even get a completion on matchmaking there’s no point. LFG is not hard, it takes 5 minutes. And provides a much better experience than matchmaking. An in game LFG would work much better.

Brontにより編集済み: 11/12/2019 4:57:55 PMYou’ve only done crown why should I take your opinion that raids aren’t hard seriously? I don’t care how many raids you’ve done in d1, this is d2. Raids are harder. I can’t imagine doing garden or last wish with people inexperienced, who don’t talk, not good enough dps, not good weapons, low light. Now that I think about it, probably 1/50 raids completed by matchmaking would be successful. Matchmaking would be a toxic experience that would turn people away from raiding which does not need to happen. Please respond with an actual argument or don’t bother responding.

Again, I can’t take your opinion seriously because you’ve only done 1 d2 raid so you can’t really say if their harder or not if you haven’t completed more of them. And the problem with mm is that it would turn people way. People who would try out and find a good team with lfg would find a shit team with mm, and they would prob never raid again.

I’m not asking you to take my opinion seriously but it looks like many people are. 😂 You all play to much when you try to control how other people want to play. This won’t affect LFG in no way. It’ll still be there.
Nah. It won’t be that bad. The raids aren’t that hard.
Try doing CoS with people who won't communicate via mic, or don't speak the same language as you, insist on using double sidearm and a sword, or won't rez you because they are trying to do a bounty. That is matchmaking today on non-raid activities. There is no reason to think raids would be any different

Bungie has been doing matchmaking since 04. Won’t take much sweat.

Haha bit different with the way things are now Plus, it’s a massive waste of resources to realize that the MM teams can’t complete Raids

Because it won't be optional. You'll either have a full fireteam, you be thrown into that toxicity. Someone gets DCd? You just got a no mic scrub. You have a boss CP? Too bad, you're now on the 2nd encounter. There's a reason MM isn't implemented in high light activities already. It needs to stay that way.

Says the person with 0 GOS clears and 1 CoS clear. Maybe get a little more experience under your belt before you talk about what's "hard" and "what's needed". Raids take coordination. People can't even communicate on strikes, let alone something that takes time, effort, and understanding. Only thing that would come of it is even more people -blam!- on the forums and watered down raids. Use a little common sense dude
