... then how can the said god influence things within our space and time? Wouldn’t have to be a deistic god, at best?

9 通の返信How can anyone possibly know if something (anything) exists outside of space and time. We are completely shut off from anything outside of space and time - and yet some people claim to know that a god exists there. This seems like an impossibility. Also what does that even mean “outside” of space? That phrase is a meaningless paradox. There is no “outside” of space.

2 通の返信We can exist "outside" a two dimensional plane but still influence things within it.

8 通の返信Wow, had this discussion earlier this week. I think that when people say that, I think it means outside of our space & time, not all of space & time. Like for an example, where it says God created the Universe in 6 days & on the 7th God rested? How do we know that was in 7 of our days? For all we know, when God woke up this morning, it was the start of the Renaissance period. As for the space part, why couldn't a God be right beside us, but not in our space? I mean, whether you believe or not, this type of thing is fun to think about. I mean, at what point are we adding limits based on our limited human understanding of how life, the universe & everything works and can we comprehend something that is supposedly so far above us?

3 通の返信It’s more accurate to say that God also exists beyond our space and time. A dot exists within a circle; that same 2D circle exists within a sphere.

I never understood this argument either. When god is attributed in this way it gives EVERY reason to not believe a single thing anyone has ever said about god because they can’t possibly know anything about it.
-
6 通の返信that still assumes that a god is bound by the rules of space and time. If he is unbound (outside) by space and time he can do what ever the frick he wants.
-
6 通の返信If God created time and space I think it would be logical to infer that he could interact with His creation.

themirror2manにより編集済み: 10/28/2019 12:39:13 PM🌎🎥👻 Time = is only relevant to beings of limited energy. Space/distance is relevant due to Time being a hindrance to limited beings. If mortal man was free from the reality of limited energy would time exist or be relevant? Is time just a mockery to our humbled reality. A measurement of our(humankind and the sphere we exist in) decay? Like in Dr. Strange when dood says Time is an insult.

4 通の返信
I just downvoted your comment/post. FAQ Q:What does this mean? A: The amount of upvotes (bumps) on your comment and/or post has decreased by one. Q: Why did you do this? A: There are several reasons I may deem a comment/post to be unworthy of positive or neutral votes. These include, but are not limited to: * Rudeness towards other people, * Spreading incorrect information, * Sarcasm not correctly flagged with a /s, * -blam!- you. Q: Am I banned from the Bungie.net? A: No - not yet. But you should refrain from making comments or posts like this in the future. Otherwise I will be forced to issue an additional downvote, which may put your commenting and posting privileges in jeopardy. Q: I don't believe my comment deserved a downvote. Can you un-downvote it? A: Sure, mistakes happen. But only in exceedingly rare circumstances will I undo a downvote. If you would like to issue an appeal, shoot me a private message explaining what I got wrong. I tend to respond to Bungie PMs within several minutes. Do note, however, that over 99.9% of downvote appeals are rejected, and yours is likely no exception. Q: How can I prevent this from happening in the future? A: Accept the downvote and move on. But learn from this mistake: your behavior will not be tolerated on Bungie.net. I will continue to issue downvotes until you improve your conduct. Remember: Bungie is privilege, not a right.
