Okay so I recently got back into destiny 2 and I've pretty much done most of the new light content. I have some cash to spare so what dlc should I purchase? Also a few questions in particular.
1. If I get shadow keep (without forsaken) Wil I be able to equip/get/buy (from xur) forsaken exotics?
2. If I get shadow keep what exactly am I locked out of and what's available to me?
3. What do you guys think is the better option to get?

I think Forsaken has more content, but Shadowkeep is happening right now. Also, if you do decide on Shadowkeep, remember that includes season of the Undying. If you wait too long you’ll temporarily lose access to some of the loot from that season content since you only have the season to get though the battle pass. I’m sure the price of Shadowkeep will come down next season, but Forsaken might eventually become part of New Light (free).

I did not and will not get Shadowkeep!!!! I have 6 guardians in D1, 3 guardians maxed out in D2 and 3 guardians that I haven’t done basically nothing in D2. I would play 10 hours a day for years. But what Bungie has done to the game, I have to force myself to complete triumphs. There’s no FUN in Destiny 2!!! It’s all grind!! For s h i t!! Shadowkeep is just part of Destiny 1 with very little new content. So you’ll be paying for Destiny 1 again

If you buy forsaken you get the tangled shore, dreaming city, all the forsaken exotics and their quests, and all the content from the year 2 annual pass. Shadowkeep gets you the moon story, the raid, and the activities on the moon. Answers to your questions. 1.no, well I think 2. dreaming city, tangled shore, black armory, gambit prime? possibly, menagerie, all the year 2 raids, and all their weapons and armor. 3. forsaken is a real bang for your buck especially since the annual pass being included but if you have friends that are fully caught up with d2 you may not be able to play everything with them. Hopefully this has helped
