I respect your opinion but I really find the gameplay in the last of us to be really good. If God of War is a 10 for gameplay, which it is, then last of us is an 8. It’s not bad by any means, it’s a little clunky when you cheese enemies, but if you’re just going for a run on hard and playing like normal the game is very realistic and enjoyable at the same time. Part two will undoubtedly be a masterpiece. I never have played the tomb raiders, but I’m imagining Ellie to be the most well crafted female character in gaming. God of War is easily one of the best games I have ever played nonetheless. So yeah.

It’s not bad at all - but I personally don’t think it’s great either compared to some other third person shooters (like Gears of War or something). God of War on the other hand is some of he best melee combat I’ve ever played in a game. Also I think GOW has the edge in terms of other gameplay elements as well - the puzzle solving and level design are better than TLOU. Still I would say GOW is a 10 and TLOU is a 9.5 - there’s not much in it. TLOU has superior writing and story.
