Ok folks, be real here. You are not a bomb maker (toilet bombs don't count), you are not a Starship Trooper, but you are all space cadets...... This is a real you, real life, fake zombie scenario. You will not have 5,000 rounds of ammo in your ride in real life. Your lightsaber only lights up and the vroom sound is made with your mouth, very well I might add. That $40 katana in your room might last through 3 zombies before it falls to pieces, but you will look bad ass for those 3 Z-kills. I want you to imagine your real fear as you see Nana at the window trying to eat your face and she ain't waiting on no damn ketchup!
Have fun with this, but try to stay logical & real.

Immediate family, and I will not leave Diana and her family. Oh and my cats. Who are you feeding to the zombies? Nobody if I can afford it. What can you use to for weapons? I do hunt a little bit, but I’m not a gun nut, I only have a rifle, shotgun, revolver, and a bow. Each with about half a box of ammo. Unsure about my arrows. Eight to ten. However, I don’t think I can stomach killing people, especially if it’s someone I know. Even a coworker, no matter how useless and stupid they are. Are you going to shelter in place? I hope so. Not really much of a nomad, and my hometown is a pretty nice balance between small enough to not go completely crazy, while big enough to have standard supplies like a Walmart and even a National Guard Depot. If so, explain your fortifications and your defense strategy. Hopefully the national guard depot. They should have something. At least a few guns and ammo as well. Assuming that zombies go down like a human does, just don’t feel pain. Are you going to make a break for it? Nah. I’ll die with my family. If so, explain your strategy for escape. Super sneaky escape! What is your overall plan for survival? All honesty I don’t think I’d want to be a zombie killer or something like that. Maybe a hunter. I guess an electrician would be useful since our job is literally troubleshooting.
You are not a bomb maker
Flashback to grandpa’s “fun” fireworks.

2 通の返信So... right here we can see what is wrong with our society... Most of the people here are: - feeding loved ones to the zombies (tough love right?) - raiding their neighbors (what if they raid you first? Pool resources is not an option?) - offing the poor old couple that lived in the country farm they want to fortify (talking first? No? Pool resources? again) - dismissing females as useless in an apocalypse (😤) (then you wander why you don’t get laid 🤦♀️) If you see an orphan standing at the side of the road, do you help or do you off and barbecue the orphan? I guess I’m siding with the zombies this time around 🤷♀️

8 通の返信Who looks like an asset? Whether or not my whole family would be an asset, I know I'd have to take all of them. I know my dad and brother would be helpful as they can shoot very well. My sister and mom I dont know where they'd fit. Who are you feeding to the zombies? You can probably tell form my last response. What can you use to for weapons? I have 7 bow in my house, a mix of throwing weapons, and 6 or more guns with at least 150 rounds each (I also have a box of 500 rounds for a specific gun). Are you going to shelter in place? Yes, I live in a spot where I could drive out to a country side. If I needed to I could off the people who live there, the zombies wouldnt make it that far I'd imagine. If so, explain your fortifications and your defense strategy. I'd depend on the house, ideally we'd be able to get onto the roof. There is a wood tower 30 or so minute away, I'd hope to make it to there and just use that tower. Are you going to make a break for it? From the top of the tower probably not. If so, explain your strategy for escape. What is your overall plan for survival? In my house there is 30 days worth of food for 5 people, we have a mini van. I'd use those two things to make it to the wood tower, camp out there until we need food or determine it's safe (without proper nutrients the human body would most likely fall apart within 2 months at most, as much as we like to think a zombie outbreak would be bad, it wouldnt last long).

2 通の返信So I'm in stats class atm -Idk, I don't know my classmates that well tbh -Hopefully no one, I don't want anyone to die around me -I have a heavy binder and a bunch of pencils, so I might have to build and army of John Wicks out of my stats class -My campus has 5 floors, and multiple different buildings. Plenty of places to hide and build shelter. --Ideally, I have 2 ideas 1) Occupy the 1st floor of the cafeteria, plenty of food and exits everywhere. 2) Just grab whatever I can from the cafeteria and run to the T-building, which is the most isolated and there is a glass dome area where you can around yourself in all directions. -I might in the future, but for now I'm gonna stay here at least for a couple of days. -Overall plan: Stay here for a while, and then think of a plan to get out. Then find someone else alive with a car, go to said car, and go back to our individual houses trying to find our loved ones. If they are alive and can aid the group, we bring them along. If not, we just stop by, say hi, and leave.

1 返信I'm in my room (which is also my gaming room) and I'm alone so there's that lol For weapons I could probably use a game case or controller I could use a gaming chair to barricade the door And my plan to escape is to somehow cut the net on a window open and escape through there

6 通の返信*draws longsword* Sure a $40 katana hanging on a wall doesn’t do much but what about a actually longsword passed down to me from my father(real thing I own) or my own actually longsword I own. Not cheep swords either. When those brake I have many other things that could be used as weapons. I have a huge plan and all but I will type that out when I have time but I don’t have time. Will respond later

1 返信First order of business is to string my bow and grab the axe out of the shed, from there I’m loading as much supplies into my car as possible then calling my friends to get a group together After that finding somewhere defensible is a priority, ideally a multi-story building outside any major cities, other things I’ll be looking for is material to fortify it with and equipment to grow food with, ideally this place should be also situated near a source of fresh water, a couple places come to mind Food and water are important supplies to gather of course, but we’ll also need winter clothing, candles and medicine, we’re approaching winter and we don’t wanna freeze to death.

3 通の返信I’ve got a .45 caliber pistol with two full 7 round magazines, one in the chamber, and five extra rounds in the box in my pickup. I’ll grab as much shit from my hotel room as I can possibly get in the truck. Blankets, food, water. I’m assuming the zombies are only as strong or fast as the people themselves, so as I’m going back and forth to the truck I’ll just use my pocket knife and strength to shove and shiv through the hotel. Most will be either locked in their rooms since I’m also assuming they aren’t going to remember door handles, or there won’t be many people around anyway since it’s a pretty rural area. Once I’m supplied I’ll head straight out of town to a farm house with good visibility near a river or other fresh water. I’ll cover and hide the pickup, and hide out in the farm house making it seem abandoned. During the day I’ll actually sleep in the woods nearby, and I’ll work on rationing, building, and scouting at night. I can hunt and fish in the mornings and evenings. I’ll avoid survivors until I’ve got a good grip of what’s going on and who’s left and who can’t be trusted. I’ll trade and lead scouting and gathering parties if there are opportunities, but I won’t ever reveal my underground shack that I’ll eventually build to anyone, and I’ll have multiple in a couple mile radius, while still publicly using the house and shed if there are trustworthy people around. I’ll still nap long in the day to give myself late nights and early mornings to work. I don’t plan on ever using the gun unless it is the only tool to keep me or others alive. Eventually the towns nearby may become inhabitable again, and I’ll do what I can to keep the peace between others. I’ll then likely die on a trek across the country back to my home 600 miles away, twenty or so years later. So yeah.

3 通の返信Liam_the_Censorにより編集済み: 10/24/2019 12:17:06 PMReading this in my basement, meaning I have access to the safe and thus my Ar-15, my dad’s .16 gauge, Five-Seven, and various other weapons I can use to gleefully send the undead back to the douchebag in Hell. I’d probably get in my dad’s truck with my family and try to get as much gas and ammo as possible. There are some gun shops nearby so I can loot those or convince one of the dudes to come with us. Also, we know a guy who has a kit to build bullets with the brass casings that have already been shot, I would try to get him to join us. I’d bring any canned food and anything to help us with survival, and I think we have some drinking water down here as well, so that helps. Oh, and I’d bring my dog, that dude barks like the dickens when he hears someone. After that I would head to my great Uncle’s farm, which is pretty out of the way of civilization. We might meet family there by coincidence. After that, we could hunt deer, farm, and slay some undead. I McFrickin hate this glitch ya know? It really sucks because it isn’t

8 通の返信ARC-1751により編集済み: 10/24/2019 2:00:29 AMI am home. 3 story house with attic and basement. Recently renovated and built pretty strong. Plenty of food and water, dry goods, etc. Any kind of power tools you can think of, and piles of lumber in basement, shed, and garage. Plenty of medicine and other necessities. Parents, brother, and dog are home. All of them could be useful. All know how to use firearms, my brother, father and I could work on fortifying the house and my mom could take care of food. Dog is aggressive to any strangers and will bark loudly at any unfamiliar noises or people. I have 2 .22 rifles and roughly 10k rounds of ammo for them, a 7.62 rifle with maybe 500 rounds, .308 with 400 rounds, and a .410 shotgun with a few hundred rounds of birdshot. Maybe 50 buckshot shells. About 15 airsoft/pellet/bb guns with thousands of rounds ammo each. Machete, war hammer, pocketknives/multitools, chainsaws, axes, sledgehammers, other tools/equipment that could function as weapons, as well as kitchen implements, plentiful 2x4s and other things that could be used as weapons. I’ll shelter in place, if possible make a trip across town to the yard where we keep our landscaping trucks/equipment to secure more equipment/tools and maybe use the trucks as barricades for the house. There is a generator there with plenty of gasoline, amongst 2 shipping containers full of tools and equipment. A dump truck and 2 vans. I’d fortify the first floor with all the lumber and live upstairs. Basement could be used to store tools and equipment etc. I could probably last a few months with these supplies, my home should be plenty fortified against zombies and hostile humans. We could armor the dump truck (or even our pickups or vans) and use it with a snowplow to raid stores/gather more supplies. There is a cvs and grocery store right down the street, and plenty of other stores nearby. I have gardening experience and seeds so growing food could be a long term solution. Plenty of fertilizer/chemicals etc (we own a landscaping business). Hunting and fishing could be another option for food, I have plenty of guns and fishing equipment. I think between the supplies I have on hand and raiding other sources for supplies i could survive long term with my family at home.

7 通の返信
You are were you are when you read this. School, work, the bathroom, Arby's, a gas station, a store, hopefully not driving 🤨, etc.
At home.
Look around you and figure out your resources.
I got 7 guns, a bow, and a couple of knives. Along with some other tools. We got food and there is a pretty decent sized forest with lots of game near the neighborhood.
Who looks like an asset?
Family and neighbors
Who are you feeding to the zombies?
Hopefully no one.
What can you use to for weapons?
See response to second question
Are you going to shelter in place?
Might hold out for a while here until we know for certain to start moving out.
If so, explain your fortifications and your defense strategy.
We could take fences and use their wood to build a larger fence around the neighborhood. Lots of cars here too, so we could use those as both protection and an escape plan.
Are you going to make a break for it?
If the situation calls for it. But possibly.
If so, explain your strategy for escape.
Fortify a vehicle, gather weapons, gather reliable people, head out. Stick together and help one another and we should survive. Head out for a place with plenty of resources and is bound to be zombie resistant. I believe the decaying process is sped up in warmer climates, so I might head west (I live in Florida) to somewhere desert-ish with water and food.
What is your overall plan for survival?
Basics: Bring what’s necessary. Too much and you’ll get caught. Too little and you won’t make it long. Avoid strangers as much as possible. The greatest enemy to man, is man itself. If bitten, quickly cut away the infected area. Keep a bullet for yourself if things don’t work out. Stay silent and quick. Move quietly, move fast, never stop longer than necessary. Avoid cities and other areas with dense populations. The more people there were, the more zombies there will be. Find something to enjoy. Gotta have something to clear the mind. Maybe bring a book along or work on carving a wooden sculpture.
But honestly, you’re best bet would be the military. They have a contingency for everything. Even the zombie apocalypse.
1 返信ABackSeatDriverにより編集済み: 10/24/2019 3:45:07 AM*looks around* I'm screwed. I'm not being lazy or anything, my back is killing me, my girl has chronic knee dislocation, and my car is over 15 years old and I doubt it'll get me and my girl out of danger. So, my plan is to lock the doors and sit on my ass playing video games while scarfing down pain killers and smoking so much ganja that I'll be oblivious to the hoards of zombies outside.

House flooded 4 days ago, all the flooring has been taken up, 80% furniture moved out and there is a mountain of junk in front of my gun safe. All of my outdoor/hiking/bush crafting/camping/fishing/hunting supplies are in totes and stored away right now till the house gets back to normal. A steak knife, a bottle of cayenne pepper, and some years of martial arts training that I may or may not remember from training years ago is about all I got for self defense.

5 通の返信Who looks like an asset? My little brother Who are you feeding to the zombies? This is why my little brother is an asset What can you use to for weapons? Shovel. All you ringi are gonna go for the guns and the swords first, but wtf is that gonna do against a zombie horde? If you are looking to survive in the wilderness, you'll need a gun to hunt, but eventually the bullets are going to run out. Also, swords are super overrated. Too sharp, they'll get stuck in the zombie's flesh, and, not to mention, a sword is completely useless outside of combat. However, a shovel is super versatile, in and out of combat. Balanced, nice and top-heavy, shovel can deal both sharp and blunt damage, and it's moderately long ranged, perfect for multiple rushing targets. Also, shovels can be one of the go-to survival items, like a secondary hatchet, but the hatchet is too short to be used against zombies. Are you going to shelter in place? Hell no. I ain't no survivalist, and my house has 4 doors, one story , plenty of windows, a big living room, and a shotgun hallway. There's only one of me (maybe 2 if you count my little brother) and i live in a small city, so there are probably a good amount of zombies fo fight. Are you going to make a break for it? Yes, my place isn't defensible and i do not have the skills to survibe by myself. If so, explain your strategy for escape. Grab whatever bags i find, and: 1st bag(s)- everything in the pantry 2nd bag(s)- everything in the fridge 3rd bag(s)- everything in the bathroom (this is where we keep medical supplies) 4th bag(s)- matches and a lighter, and all the books/paper i can find. If i find myself on foot, i'll need a fire for night. 5th bag(s)- phone to keep in contact with big govt, and to google survival skills (hopefully the internet is still up), also the switch and some tabletop games cuz i'm a gamer until death. Grab the shovel, hop in the car, and find the nearest hunting ground. (My state is a big hunting state, so there should be one nearby.) Hopefully, the rednecks i find at the hunting ground can teach me to shoot, and they'll probably have enough guns and ammo to last us until we can build slings and bows and arrows to replace guns. If the rednecks don't just kill me outright, i can either trade all my supplies for shelter or persuade them to take me in. What is your overall plan for survival? A hunting ground is wide and sparse, so even if guns attract zombs, they aren't coordinated and will not come in big hordes like in a city. From there, the zombs will be easy to pick off, and won't be much trouble. The toughest part is surviving in the wilderness, i will try to ride out the entire apocalypse in that hunting ground, so we'll eventually need to learn how to build shelters and probably farm. Just kinda banking on the fact that there is a stream or river nearby, else we'll need to dig wells and drink groundwater (shovel comes in handy, hell yea!)
