Unnerf Redrix and Breakneck!
Jesus you killed these! These 2 guns were NEVER meta, and were massive grinds to get. Redrix was hardly ever even used... Breakneck was fun to use but not broken, and would still have been ok with the rampage nerf.
Please take away the nerf reducing damage as rof increases, it doesn’t make any sense.
And if you aren’t going to do that, and this really was about balance - then you should nerf the recluse into oblivion since everyone who has it uses it pretty much exclusively for all content PvP or PvE!

15 通の返信I played a bit of PvP yesterday. Can't remember getting taken down by a recluse the entire time. That raid pulse rifle on the other hand. That thing is nuts. I was getting consistently 2 tapped. Took me back to the Messenger days of D1 trials.

It was NEVER an overpowered weapon, nobody complaint about it as overpowered - Desperado is just one special Perk on one singe weapon which surely is not common because of the hard "work" you have to do for it! In PvE it was fun to play but never broken because Desperao did not last that long to keep it permanently active (which is possible with the Recluse BTW).... The Redrix should be a special weapon for it's massive Grind and you need easily 100 hours or more to get it...now all the Guardians who work for it just get a kick in the a** for playing the game. It was even ranked one of the worst pinnacle weapons before Shadowkeep and people asked for a buff - how many people have that gun? Even if it was overpowered (what it never was) let those few guardians be something special - I thought that was the idea behind pinnacle weapons?? Or at least - if you want to make us use different weapons in PvE make theRedrix a "special PvP weapon" which is really a "gamechanger" for crucible! I never was a fan of the Breakneck - it had it's moments to use but was never a Meta Weapon (like the recluse)....but the people invested their time to play your game to get it - you just take us away the "expensive toys".....a bad idea for a loot shooter...where it is something special to HAVE those special guns to show off. But you cannot show off if you leave them a piece of trash!

16 通の返信I recorded a clip on my xbox account while using Breakneck just the other night, it's far from underpowered. I mopped up an entire area of adds in the lost sector below the Sorrow's Harbor (which has pretty high-level enemies). It is still to this day one of my favorite weapons in the game with a little over 18k kills on it. I literally use it in every activity but crucible. So speaking of crucible, I've been using Redrix in Iron Banner and doing just as well as before. You guys need to stop worrying about every small nerf that happens or doesn't happen and just play the game. When a weapon becomes utterly useless...THEN make a post about it.

Yeah, they were hit too damn hard for PvE, considering how little use they saw in PvE. Why use Breakneck when Recluse is much, much easier to use and you can use Izanagis with Recluse but that isn't a strong energy pairing for Breakneck? I feel bad for Breakneck more than anything. I have about 8k kills on that thing, and it was far from busted.

1 返信I only ever used the Breakneck in PVP for finishing off someone when when I ran out of my secondary. In fact, I've still been using it to that end in Banner this week with the same results I've always had. TBH don't notice much - but could be because of my light (931, most are lower).

I put a few seasons worth of grinding in to get Redrix. I like it because it reminds me of the VoG pulse (style wise). I was so excited to use it but it wasn't good pre nerf... Breakneck was a grind but not too bad for me. I was hoping it would be a great weapon.

4 通の返信Redrix is great, I don't know what you're on about. It can reliably 2 burst now, and even with the desperado nerf, whats going to outgun you besides a powered up recluse if you can 2 burst somebody in a fraction of a second from a decent range? The answer: pretty much nothing.

I do personally disagree on nerfing because that’s why you are posting in the first place. Bumpgie just trash everything.

2 通の返信Something else I dont understand is the fact that they nerfed all other damage increasing perks by 50% and then turned around and only gave recluse a 3% nerf. like what? recluse the most meta pve and pvp weapon at the current time got a 3% nerf but all other damage increasing perks got a 50% reduction in effectiveness how did they come to that conclusion?

Let me get this straight.....you want a buff and if you can't get it you want to nerf one of the only other few guns (see Huckleberry) that is still good and make everyone equally miserable? (A totally stupid idea) Gaming socialism at its best.

5 通の返信I don't get that they didn't touch Recluse. B'Neck was my go-to on all 3 toons for months. With Loaded Q & exotic hvy. Watched a video t'other day that had numbers on the damage increase perk nerfs. Very sad little numbers. Numbers that were once great, but now, oh so puny 😔
