I agree with this post. I can handle the grind-fest part, but being required to use weapons that I don't like to get an item in a game destroys what I enjoy from Destiny. Destiny is about the different guns no doubt, but when I love a gun, I wanna use it, not backpack it until I get a few hundred kills with another gun that I hate. This was also the reason I stopped keeping up with Destiny, the armors that I came to like became obsolete and the weapons that I want to use only get me so far. So I just live in the past and stopped buying the DLC, played the base version of Destiny 2 because that was what I wanted.
