“Disruption break” is not the same as the new ‘disrupted’ status effect. Mind you they [i]should not[/i] be so similarly named to avoid confusion, but they are different things. Disruption break only activates upon breaking a shield with a gun that has the perk, and will increase kinetic weapon damage on that target by 50% for a brief time (around 4-5 seconds). Disruption is only activated upon use of a related seasonal-artifact armor mod perk, or through use of overload rounds.
