You need to do the Weekly Nightfall, not the Ordeal. The Five of Swords has no effect outside of the Weekly Nightfall.

[facepalm] Inattentive blindness is really a thing! As soon as I saw ordeal in director, I instantly thought that it completely replaced normal nightfall, and didn't see big blue nightfall marker right next to ordeal. Thanks! P.S. Could've farmed Militia's Birthright last week. Damn!
