So recently bought the $60 deluxe version, however when junior logs in (on the same PS4) it tells him he has to rebuy the season pass... ? If you have a family with 4 kids You supposed to spend $300.00 for the same game...? Seriously Bungie?

3 通の返信No,you dont have to spend nearly $300, you didn't clarify if each one is gamesharing or you all are using the system. If you are using the same system the actual battle pass cost only $10, so you would only need to spend $30 due to the battle passes being a account locked thing so it cant transfer over like a dlc.

Offstarにより編集済み: 10/4/2019 4:38:08 AMWell no the dlc is system bound so you only need to buy Shadowkeep once. But you need to buy the season pass per account since the new season pass is technically an in-game item now. So it's $10 per person or $40 for 4 people. The new season pass works more like Fortnites battle pass now so it only works for the account it was bought for.

1 返信So ur saying you have to buy multiple things for multiple people. That’s so crazy

13 通の返信It’s sad. It doesn’t affect me, but it was a shady move on Bungie’s part not to ensure that this was common knowledge, but what’s new... Bungie has never cared about the community in general. They just want your money however they can get it.

Mary Ploppinsにより編集済み: 10/3/2019 3:32:54 PMNo. Your kids are welcomed to play for FREE or they can do some chores to earn extra money. I know I would gladly pay $10 for one of them to wash my truck. OR you can all play the same 3 characters.

13 通の返信You have to buy a game multiple times if you want multiple people to have it? Holy shit that’s absolutely absurd! Bungie! Give this man and his children free copies of the game! /s I know destiny dads aren’t typically the smartest folks out there, but surely you can at least put some thought into it. When you go watch a movie in theaters do you only buy one ticket for yourself and everybody else gets in for free? When you go eat at a restaurant do you only have to pay for one meal and everybody else at your table gets a meal for free? When you go buy a console does everybody with you get one for free because you bought one?

oxmiladyxoにより編集済み: 10/3/2019 2:21:39 PMThe kiddos should have access to Shadowkeep, but not have the “Premium” season pass. It will be $10 per premium season pass. The only difference between “Free” and “Premium” season pass that I can tell so far is the order of the rewards, and Premium Season Pass holders (Edit: Premium Season of Undying) get the following cosmetic items at some point: Three universal ornament armor sets (one for each class) An Exotic weapon ornament for Eriana’s Vow Two Legendary weapon ornaments A new finisher An Exotic emote An Exotic ship Just found out last night the hubby didn’t get the premium season passes either, so still researching if he should purchase or not.

7 通の返信For those of you saying Bungie has done nothing wrong, do try to understand the issue correctly. Xbox (I’m guessing PS4 works same way) allows you to play any game by anyone who are logged into the console. You can only log onto one console at a time to prevent abuse but you’re also allowed to designate one console as home console. Most console players know about this. Here is the problem. Both Destiny 1 and 2 allowed to share DLCs and annual passes this way. And Shadowkeep is just another DLC. However, Bungie decided to change sharing of season passes for this last DLC. And Bungie decided not to make this change clear. I certainly would NOT have bought Shadowkeep Deluxe if I knew this would happen. This would have been less of a problem if they changed it for, say Destiny 3. But changing how game is shared in the middle without making it clear to existing players is BAD. I purchased everything since D1. In fact, I bought everything Bungie made since Pathway Into Darkness. I feel really betrayed. And I thought Activision was bad. People, do understand that this outrage is not about getting stuff for free but rather change Bungie made that made people spend more unexpectedly without making it clear. If season pass was a micro transaction from the beginning, people wouldn’t have gotten this angry.

19 通の返信Dredgen Araphelにより編集済み: 10/2/2019 6:27:53 AMThats not Bungie thats sony. If junior has a separate psn he doesn't have the same games as you so you would have to buy everything again. Destiny isn't shared on the same account. Only way around it is if you have the disc copy for the game but that does not apply to dlc.
-
This was done because people who sell account recoveries/do carries, could buy the game once on a console and make 5-10 alternate accounts so that if they are cheating or boosting and get suspended, they can just sign in on another account with no penalty on that console. Gamesharing still lets everyone play the game, but tieing the passes to each account is a good way to prevent cheating.

7 通の返信I mean... yeeeeeah. You have to do that for years beforehand. Game sharing isn't excatly liked by everyone because in a way you are kinda stealing from the Devs for an extra person to get it for free. MMOs use account info as your login then you pay for each account your family plays on... same is basically for D2. Why is this a controversy again? Game sharing is the controversy.

3 通の返信You don’t get (number of children you have) loaves of bread for the price of 1, why would you get (number of children you have) copies of a game for the price of 1? That’s just life

Jose_Coseにより編集済み: 10/3/2019 11:30:18 AMYour thinking is backwards like does fortnite give every account on the ps4 the battlepass if one account has it on there? The Season pass is literally that and if you actually put some thought behind why it actually makes 100% sense why its tied to the account. You are entitled and simply -blam!- about something that isn't a problem. Now if they locked the dlc to only the account they bought it on then we would have a problem but this nah!
