Could we address grenade launcher damage consistency?
It’s aggregating just how inconsistent these weapons are. I love them, they feel great, but jeez the inconsistency is a real turn off.
Sometimes, I can hit XXX_Johnny-Bravo_XXX once with a grenade launcher and he’ll die. But come later and I do the same thing in the exact same situation and having everything playing out almost exactly as before, he tanks it like he was shot once by a sidearm and I get blasted in the face with a shotgun.
There is also the matter of grenade launchers versus Supers. I can’t tell you how annoying it is to fire an entire magazine’s worth of grenades at a Super only for them to lose barely any health. Why? Why does this happen? It’s a grenade launcher! A heavy weapon! It should be able to take down a Super with just 2 or 3 grenades, but to not take away half their health after a full magazine is absurd!
Please, just look into grenade launcher consistency if you have the chance Bungie. It’s really annoying having it work in one instance, only for it to fail in the next.
