There's zero excuse not to refresh the vendors. Yet people still want to say it was AV holding the game back.

Rushed yes but did it have 9 months of content before it that was being developed soon before we received it? No. Did it have new systems in place and a complete overhaul of the armor system? No. Did it deliver a remaster of an area we've already seen with some small changes? Yes. Did it deliver a fun experience with only one rememberable vendor weapon (palindrome)? Yes. Shadowkeep and ROI might not be that different on paper but once you dive into the specifics i have reasons to belive that bungies actions are justified and that shadowkeep will still be better than ROI.

34 通の返信And yet we didn't get 4 annual pass releases after rise of iron, did we? Nor did we get an overhaul to a major system of the game. Shadowkeep and Rise of Iron can't really be compared, the circumstances are nowhere near similar.

Just one more reason that I will not be continuing with this franchise until the game drops to the half price sale a month after release. Bungie does not deserve full price for half-assed content. They can’t even get the vendors to update regularly... how the hell are they going to keep up with regular content drops while removing previous content...? I don’t buy Luke Smith’s BS.
-
If they dont refresh vendor weapons this dlc, I'm not buying another season. I'll be done. Bungie needs to stop half assing shit and do what theyre supposed to do. How the -blam!- you gonna ignore crucible for a year? This shit is a joke.
There's zero excuse not to refresh the vendors. Yet people still want to say it was AV holding the game back.
Rise of iron was better than season of the drifter. I still miss the radar ornaments.

4 通の返信Those people who worked on D1 are not the same people who are working on D2 Bungie lost a lot of staff members in the past few years They didn’t fit Bungies liberal agenda.

45 通の返信I’d argue Rise of Iron was a better year than D2 and the expansions themselves before Forsaken

PilksUKにより編集済み: 9/12/2019 3:58:27 PMIf Bungie cannot make money from it they will not do it simple as that... They didn't update PvP for the last year because it was going to be part of the free 2 play portion of the game according to Luke Smith in his directors cut that should tell you everything about how Bungie decide to do things. D1 got the update at the end of its life span for the reason you mentioned D2 got delayed and they needed to keep people playing D1 and spending on the cashshop.

18 通の返信Rise of Iron also lacked a lot of what Shadowkeep is bringing. I would rather have what we're getting in Shadowkeep than a pointless vendor refresh.

17 通の返信Hunter_Umbraにより編集済み: 9/12/2019 7:11:19 PMOf course there was. Vendors we're all we had ffs. There was no end-game once you beat the raid. I'll argue that strike specific loot should come back the way it was, but to expect a refresh of every vendor and an endgame activity every season is just asking too much.

There is an excuse and y’all should know this=no sugar daddy publisher anymore. When will this sink in? Half or more of the studio is working on d3 so they’re putting in minimum effort because the fan base is hooked(not going anywhere). The writing has been on the wall for a bit

8 通の返信People talk about how Destiny is a "hard addiciton to break". How?! this shit is staler than last weeks biscuits.

The whole "Activision" excuse is BS. Sure they want ROI, however they weren't the creative/game directors. Bungie the oppurtunity to make a great game but put some of the wrong ppl behind it. Saying it wasn't their fault is just a cop out for poor design and strategy.
