Also. On top of that I would like to mention that the mostly cosmetic system (Except not so much with this season) helped pay things like the ZH mission. Yeh. They have an excuse as to why they keep the shop in the game.
Hey bungie! Can yall bring back Activision please? Yall suck!
I can’t help but agree. Activision would never let Bungie get away with shit are doing such as removing content people pay for. But honestly, Bungie leaving Activision has been revealing. Cause now we know who was making all the bad and greedy decisions. It was all Bungie’s Idea to Monetize their Community to death with Eververse, Battle Passes etc. Part of me wants them back with Activision.

All the mtx, throttling, etc was Bungie and only Bungie. Besides, pubs do nothing more than set deadlines, finance games, and handle marketing & promotion.

It could be either, but considering the way content was on activisions part (needing to buy every dlc to buy the next one) and other scummy bs they've done with other titles I am much more inclined to believe it came from them.

You mean you don't want a dynamic universe where it feels like the world's evolving? Cool story. But no content is being removed. You also forget that the Eververse is how Bungie is able to make these constant updates. At this point, it's become their main source of revenue, which is now even MORE prevalent because they dropped the leech that was hanging on to them. Think of it like this: If the Eververse was removed, that content wouldn't exist. It'd vanish into nothingness. Because chances are instead of them making 30 missions for ornaments and sparrows and ships, they simply wouldn't bother with it. You aren't going to earn everything in the game. You aren't supposed to. Be glad it's cosmetics. Also I prefer having CONTENT in between expansions vs. content droughts.
