A couple of hours ago, i have tried to talk to a bunch of raiders about how i would have liked to learn and do the raid without experiencing much difficulty.
And they have told me to just use the lfg.
So i did.
EU Last Wish, No Experience, No Mic, Need Sherpa
I have waited for 5 minutes or so, and then i closed my fireteam.
Needless to say, nobody showed up.
I shouldn't have tried this in the first place lol
Corrick IIにより編集済み: 9/10/2019 11:15:32 PM-sigh- If this really is a troll post, it would be nice to see some actual effort put into making it good satire. If it reads exactly like other posts that are serious, it’s hard to tell if it’s satire or not, and the tags just make it look like you’re covering up what you really want to say with “jokes”.

W33DEDPLAGUEにより編集済み: 9/10/2019 11:40:08 PMNo mic? How can you expect to raid with no communication? It's literally impossible unless you have done it SEVERAL times. That's why nobody showed up. 5 minutes? Talk about somebody with patience lol. It doesn't always happen instantly, especially with no experience or a mic. It's gonna take a while to get a team with those circumstances. I thought this was gonna be about mechanics or something but you actually said you hate the raids because nobody will join your no Mic game. Hahaha come on man., I really hope this is bad satire.

I think you shouldnt have complained about it when youre the one who made a mistake. Thats nowhere near enough time to find a raid group. Also advertising you have no mic isnt a good idea. Its a much better idea to find a group and THEN tell them you dont have a mic (same goes for experience) If you ever see a raid group that says "teaching" in the title, they will likely be way more tolerant of mistakes and inexperienced players. It's how i did my first Last Wish completion.

5 minutes? Talk about impatient. 5 minutes is not enough time for you to demand a sherpa (which sounds like a carry, with the "without much difficulty" comment) to teach you mechanics to which you can't respond to or complete mid-encounter. I've ran raids with fantastic no mic players that do just about as good as me when I show them the ropes. This is coming from the guy whose taught 60 people last wish. Sometimes I can't even find a fireteam when I'm posting willing to teach in five minutes, so you're expecting a sherpa magically appear for the same but all for your favor and in less time?

Lol. You need to learn patience. It can take hours or days to find people that are willing to take you on. You are basically asking someone to take you, an unknown, on a sherpa carry for free. That takes a special person and they can be hard to find. I believe you need to lower your expectations and learn patience. Another possible thing you can do is learn the raid, so you dont need a full sherpa carry. Having a mic so you can communicate and learn is another plus. If you dont do these things, it will always be hard to find a group. Take care.

Calにより編集済み: 9/10/2019 4:39:46 PMUnless there is a medical reason if you have no experience you need to have a mic. Nobody is going to just waste their time with someone they need to communicate with who can’t communicate. Now if you are def I understand but outside of that you need a mic bro

I played them all up until and including last wish. Didnt like any of the raids in this game and i raided in Destiny on all three characters across five accounts with various friends groups. The d2 raids are crappy, pointless and there are no guns or armor worth investing the time to grind for. This game to meis a turd from top to bottom

Sherpaにより編集済み: 9/9/2019 5:34:32 PMI know this is satire (I mean it literally says troll thread) A few tips though in case there was even a shred of truth behind it. Include things like "first time but I watched guides, quick learner" or "looking for others new to the raid to give it a shot" You can also use the Reddit page r/DestinySherpa to find a Sherpa and team To everyone else saying he 100% needs a mic, that is not the case, as long as they can hear the others, he can ask questions through messages, discord, etc. as needed. I've done many raids with mute guardians in the past. Where I typed out the explanations, in OPs case he just has to hear explanations.
