Happened today. Me and a clan-mate were in a fireteam of 2 (duh!), queued into Iron Banner and ended up ON OPPOSITE TEAMS!!!! What the hell is going on with this game's PvP lately? For weeks now, the lag has been so bad, that 80% of the games are just unplayable, at least on PC EU servers. Since D1, connections have always been a problem, but never like this. Something is wrong and it's not on my end. I have perfect connection in every other online game. Sub-15 ms ping, no buffer-bloat, no packet loss, nothing. Let's not even talk about Comp, account recoveries and/or matchmaking, or I'll angrily hurl on my keyboard. All that...and then you put my clan-mate against me, ON THE OPPOSING TEAM? At this point I don't even know if I should keep playing this mess. I still love Destiny as a concept and the PvE part is actually amazingly fun. PvP though? Holy moly, what a burning pile of garbage. I have every single pinnacle weapon in the Crucible. I got them legit, no cheese, no account recovery and wasn't even especially hard. But for some reason, this season, I can't even get to 2100. Global Elite in CS:GO, but I get regularly SHIT ON in Destiny 2, a game with huge hit-boxes, insanely powerful builds and absurd bullet magnetism. How is that even possible? What changed? "So maybe I just hit a plateau and everyone else got better.", I said to myself. Oh no no no. Most of the time, the guy popping off has blue gear, 3500 Comp points and only a few matches on his account. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THIS GAME?????! I just want to understand why, all of a sudden, I'm bad at PvP. Not in other games, though. No, just in Destiny. I don't get it. That OPPOSING TEAMS match finally broke my will to keep playing, though. It's gotten way too frustrating, to keep playing this game every day. I'm out for this season.
