Duplicate exotic protection??
The only thing worse than an extremely low drop rate for exotics and catalysts is the fact that the exotics are frequently duplicates with ZERO protection from it. I purchased the Stronghold exotic from Xur and not 20 minutes later I FINALLY got an excotic drop for the first time in MONTHS and it was Stronghold.... How is that right? This is something that they need to address/fix either in Shadowkeep or D3

Exotic drops from the world are weighted to prefer armor, since there are random rolls associated with armor. Xur's engram only provides a Forsaken or earlier exotic that you haven't unlocked so long as it's available to the class making the purchase.
