Is solstice of heroes fun?
In my belief it’s not fun it’s terrible and it’s nothing but a chore and it hurts my brain.

Besides the cashshop crap, it is easy and fun. I got mine done very fast, easier than last years grind unfortunately. But i don't mind too much, now that i have what i need in game right now means i can finally play other games. I am currently playing Days Gone (very fun game) now i have time for since my grind is pretty much done on Destiny. But i am very much looking forward to Shadowkeep though. :)

It was fun for a while, but I got bored soon enough. EAZ is cool, but it's a fairly limited gameplay loop and it was a bit of a shame there were no event triumphs, lore pieces or a special weapon to chase like previous events.

Honestly the event sucked, to run all 3 characters through the armor 30+ gambit matches after sotd, 75 patrols, 30 strikes, 60 public events are beyond boring, weve been doing these same things for an entire damn year, not to mention the orbs, strikes, eaz mini bosses, ability kills, etc werent interesting or fun in any way.

i did all my 3 pc charcters to majestic in the first 6 days of the event and for fun i 1 charcter on ps4 , then i found out that i did not need bother with the others on ps4 since were all going to be 750 anyway now playing other games

Icaras24により編集済み: 8/19/2019 8:10:23 PMCompleted my Hunter and working on my Warlock. Uncommon Drained ( Green) to Renewed (Blue) no problem, had fun. Working on Renewed (Blue) to Majestic (Purple) to much of a grind. I may not complete the Warlock gear, but the Titan will NOT be accomplished and will wait for the purchase from Banshee-44 in the next Revision of the game. Masterwork the Armor questionable.

To me? Not really if only cause of the excessive grind in places. I do appreciate that they made some steps count as a team then individual progress but hate how they pick and choose which steps actually did that. Like 75 guardian kills was team based progress but farming 1500 elemental orbs was individual based which made it a nightmare to play with others if they are focused on an element you weren't. I just hope that the valor task for masterworking one piece counts if you did it before you got the majestic set or I'm screwed.

I will admit after not being in the EAZ since I finished my 3ed char more then a week ago I jumped (accidentally) into it last night. Its not bad when you don't care how many bosses, orbs, chests I need. But GAMBIT, from a person that used to love Gambit. It's going to be a while before I can bring myself to jump back in and def not before Solstice ends!!!

Solstice Y2 event quest should have been account base. This event makes match made team mates fight among each other for kill types and elemental orbs, counter quest and team productive. Also, didn't like the restriction of Playlist Strikes only. EAZ chest also majority of the time dropping keys instead of only Solstice packages is a double back handed insult slap to the face of players by Bungie. Looking for those enhancement perks players will need good RNG and play lots of EAZ mode. I've opened around 140 packages for my Hunter and have ever only gotten 3 helmets and 2 arm pieces. Lots of dismantle trash, some cores and a decent amount of chest, leg and class armor pieces with not very good perk combinations. While my Warlock lucked out getting enhance HC loader and heavy ammo finder arm piece perks upon the quest completion reward set. The worse part of Y2's Solstice event is I actually like Y1's armor cosmetics more. I wish Bungie would have allowed Y1's legendary armor pieces or sets unlocked to be ornaments for Y2's version. Don't like the Warlock's helmet and Titan's left body side Y2 set looking like unfinished knock offs.

Its not fun which is why I’m not doing it, why do something thats going to be boring and meaningless as soon as the next expansion drops? The ones who are grinding this without enjoying themselves should learn to put down their controller
