Personally speaking, I had no major issues with Solstice of Heroes. I didn't go super crazy with grinding out my armor sets for all three of my characters, but I did manage to finish all my grinding for that yesterday. I've also used this event to help gather planetary materials, vendor tokens, legendary shards, and enhancement cores. I've got healthy stacks of all of them now and I'm prepared for when Shadow Keep drops in October.

The ornaments are a bit kiddie looking. Why not reward players with Vault of Glass armor from d1, as the VoG was the first raid. The Kabr Titan armor looked awesome. Also, will Bungie ever bring back Pocket Infinity?

Grinded all three class sets. Gambit was super demoralizing. Invaders were 85% truth rockets 10% hammerheads 4% snipes. Gambit prime passed by quicker but even more frustrating with veterans in the invader set tanking truth rockets. But I played enough to earn breakneck and 21% delirium. Plenty of games where I just put a rubber band on my controller because that's what my entire team of randoms were doing anyway, unless everyone running into a wall is a secret strategy I dont know about. I'm not amazing in crucible by any definition so those 75 crucible kills probably took me 6 games each. That's usually after I did the 10 gambit losses (Why the cruicble/gambit option wasnt on the blue set is beyond me). Hard to get these kills when 90% of the game is a chain of supers and rampant shotguns, shoulder charges, power ammo campers. EAZ was somewhat enjoyable, however the whole you have to touch the mini bosses to get a kill credit was making the grind much longer than I wanted it to be. God damn stop with the boss stomps, you put a boss on the roofs, which take me like a good minute to climb back up then stomp off. Also, I hate shriekers, everytime that ogre final boss pops up, the surrounding rooftops give zero view points to hit the shrieked core and if I'm at ground level I get ogre boss and mini ogres death gazing me. Shout out to all the players leaving the game after the mini bosses die. Strike playlist felt heavily favored toward forsaken strikes, which is odd when the solstice bounties are base game strikes. You'd think that bounty strike be more likely to pop up on the playlist for the day. Usually waited until the day singe and week singe matched to be efficient. Grenade kills usually always ended one of the last things I had to do so pop into a nightfall with grenadier+burn (how else are those void grenades do anything?) to grind out the last 30 minutes. (Thankfully tree of probabilities, seems to always be a nightfall) Thankfully I had pinnacle weapons and catalysts to grind through anyway, so I walk away with poorly rolled armor and some pinnacle weapons.

I did one set and grinded the edz for the packages for decent rolls on the set. I did all 3 sets last year, no way I was going to do it again.

Wheres the middle option stating thats its ok, but not great

I burned through it in a week so I didn't have to deal with it for the rest of the month. Cause I'm crazy and I'm broken.

The new map was kinda fun to explore a bit. I finished the majestic armor on all three characters and there are still paths (through buildings, up to rooftops) that I could master better but, nah, only having a minute (whatever short time?) to search for chests is too frustrating. It’d make a nice patrol area. Never understood why Bungie creates these limited use maps (like SRL) - seems like wasted resources.

If you made it 1 out of 10 id probably land on like a 4 for the most part, except for when gambit is involved thats a solid 1 from me.

It’s not as bad as people say but it’s still boring. Last year was much better because eververse items were earnable so you felt like you were always doing something useful

It got me playing gambit after like a year? Fun is subjective but I've had a decent time doing it at my own pace on the one character I bother to level up...my gaming time got limited lately but eh...just a game and by this weekend I'll have my majestic set and probably won't masterwork it anyways

Strikes, patrols, and public events got the main focus here. Some of the weakest content in the game.

1st play through of the EAZ was fun and interesting everything after that was a monotonous grind fest and i didn't even bother mater working the gear or play more EAZ for better rolls on the gear.

Well it was horrible yeah, but tbh its the only good looking armor set for warlock in my opinion. I don't find a lot of armors looking good on warlock same goes for my titan. But hunter it doesn't look that good, am using iron banner armor instead of it on my hunter which is my main.

For about a week... Then I was done... I like the gamemode, but its not something I could binge without a suitable reward at the end... Give us a stronger version with like weapons or something and make the orb abilities pop earlier.
