Error Code Saxophone

Whenever I open Destiny 2, it has an error message that reads: "ERROR You must restart the application using Blizzard's Battle.net App in order to play Destiny 2 For more information, visit help.bungie.net and search for error code saxophone." I am very confused because I used the Battle.net App to launch the game. I bought the game a while back before forsaken came out and played it fine. I then proceeded to not play the game for a while. When I got back on recently to play, the error message popped up. I have looked around to find a repair, but I could not find any that helped. I checked that the firewall wasn't blocking it. Please help me fix my game so I can play again.

  • Have you tried running scan and repair? https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46501 If that does not work, try uninstalling Destiny, then uninstall the Battlenet launcher. Reboot your computer. Once rebooted, using a browser go to the Blizzard website and log in to your account. Then go into your profile and change your password. Log out of the site, then log back in with the new password to make sure it is working correctly. No, download the Battlenet launcher and install it and then login with your account name and new password. Install D2 from the launcher and try getting in.
