Got suspended from comp because of network errors and my glory rank went down. First one I got was Bat and the second was baboon. Sigh
Leaving any Competitive Match (even due to network errors) will result in your Glory rank decreasing, and if it happens consistently over a short period of time, you will receive a 30 minute suspension. If you're hooked up via WiFI, try switching to a Wired Connection. While WiFi is convenient, it is less stable than Wired. Baboon error codes indicate packet loss, or a blip between your network, Bungie's network and other players. You'll want to go through the packet loss article to attempt some suggestions as to how to minimize it. Some common practices are enabling UPnP and if necessarily, configure port forwarding. A guide on how to do those exact things can be found here. If you're the only person in your household who is using the internet, you may wish to go through the Network Troubleshooting Guide and attempt some of those suggestions. It may also be worthwhile to go to your router/modem, turn it off, unplug all cables, wait 5+ minutes, plug all cables back in and turn it back on. If none of those issues are helping resolve the baboon errors, you may wish to contact your ISP to run some tests while you are playing Destiny. Below I have linked the help article for the baboon error code. Specifics regarding the Baboon Error Code may also be found here.
