I love this game but I'm mainly a solo player and don't have the opportunity to play end game stuff like raids where you need fire teams, I just don't have the people to play with to do those activities.
And I know about the aps that you can use looking for fire teams but if you haven't done the raid or whatever they want nothing to do with you...
So bungie is going to cap players like me at 950 while people who can play with teams on the pinical power activities get to higher power levels. If this is the case shadowkeep will be the last thing I buy from bungie, I bought the digital deluxe version of shadowkeep but knowing this I wish I didn't...
Sounds like Luke and bungie are trying to push out the solo players.

1 返信Bungie has never really cared for regular gamers in regards to "pinnacle" activities like Raids. The whole point is to make people, who think accomplishments in games somehow represent real life achievement, feel special. When you think about it, it kind of makes you pity people who need that from a video game. Maybe they spend more money in Eververse? I think the alienation of solo players is a byproduct of their longstanding design philosophy of "Its better with friends, so make some Destiny friends". I don't think it ever occurs to them that there are some people who do in fact have friends, they just can't get them to play Destiny anymore. I think its more a misguided attempt to draw in more paying customers rather than outright contempt for solo players. I could be wrong though.

2 通の返信I think people are getting too worked up over this and is probably not near as bad as they think it is going to be. Solo's hear raid and they freak out. I don't even raid in D2 and I'm not worried about pinnacle stuff. There will be ways to get powerful gear after 950 and I am sure they will include end content that we are already doing. Just relax people.....

11 通の返信Well, it's an MMO. You can't expect everything to be available for solo players to do.

1 返信The whole pinnacle philosophy is one bungie should jettison and flush down the toilet.

Also you can take off your Shadowkeep pre-order and put that money towards Borderlands 3. They welcome Solo Players. As does Warframe. I solo it all the time. Also EVERYTHING has Matchmaking.

1 返信cry me a river if you have to get a group to play endgame activities in a social game. this is an MMO, which stands for massively multiplayer online. How are you going to expect to be able to do everything in a game like this solo.

11 通の返信If you don't play things like raids and general pinnacle activities, you don't need to be max light

9 通の返信Go play Mario or Tetris if you want to play by yourself. This is a mmo, it’s designed to be played with other people.. it’s been that way for 7 years. If you leave it’s one less blueberry I have to deal with making the taken blight event not heroic anyways!

I used to understand the plight of a solo player in d1 i knew nobody then i lfged for a vog and they added me just find groups you have the lfg on here if you on xbox you have that lfg and be entertaining enough for them to want to keep playing with you

2 通の返信You know you get pinnacle power from IB right? Power over 950 is literally just a flex, it doesn’t matter.
-
16 通の返信This was like the first Raid in D1. You could only reach level 30 by doing the raid. They stopped that garbage after Croata. And that is what it was - garbage. The try hards get the cool weapons and armor - which amounts to little. Just Bungle sucking the streamers more. If they pull this I’m out too - and I’ve been playing since day 1 D1.

Ogma: Destroyer of Worldsにより編集済み: 8/16/2019 3:21:24 PMI assume it won’t be exclusively tied to the raids, but this is part of why I originally stopped playing D1. It really depends on how many and what pinnacle activities there are.

there's no cap currently on the artifact boost, so your post should probably be a wait and see. I don't see why you can't boost yourself above 950 while playing solo with the artifact. If your light score can go above 950, why does it matter that your armor caps at 950?

6 通の返信1) here come the "just lfg and shut up" people. Dont do it, 9/10 youre going to find an absolutely toxic "team" thatll boot you first fail 2) since youll be power capped youll be at an extreme disadvantage in IB where LL matters, jave fun with that. I wont even bother so there another activity im not going to play after SK launches 3) pretty sure you can get a refund for that if you want, which i would highly recommend

2 通の返信950 will be enough light for solo players to do everything in the game. It’s the “Solo Light Cap”. Only activities above 950 will need higher power. Bungie is giving casuals a way to get to a casual max light while reserving the 1000 light grind for the hardcore
-
23 通の返信If you don't do the harder team activities, then you won't need max power will you.

Why should be that have the time or motivation to play the game be punished because of you? Its 10 LL... its not a big deal at all. If you want to get those LL... PLAY THE DAMN GAME. Join a clan LFG Guided Games Make friends Yes, I know some people on those sites are douche bags but there are also people that will help you through it. Also you can ALWAYS look at YouTube video of the raids and other activities. Destiny is meant to be played with friends, its advertised and made like that for a reason. So stop playing it solo... if you want to play games solo then try some single player games. I recommend The Last of Us or Borderlands 3 when it comes out. If you do not like the way D2 is going, more RPG MMO style, then you will not like D3.
