Solstace Armor (drained) potential lore

Took a little while longer supersky, but here is a simple enough lore tab for the "drained" set. Solstice Helm (drained)- It was pitch black nearing the dead of night when the red legion struck the Last City. As we primed our weapons and stood on our outpost positions, we knew a threat had finally come to us. Vanguard channels all across the region were ringing out with positions taking mortar fire after mortar fire and many more saying they were being overrun with equal responses for immediate aid. As the Last City defenses crumbled, we looked up. Through our half-broken visors, we saw it. A machine of tremendous size moving directly towards... the Traveler... and as we all put our last cabal down and saw it in our own time? We knew the Cabal had planned for this. This war was now ours to both win... and lose... And that's when we realized what we could lose the most... and lost our light. Solstace gauntlets (drained)- From the lower Tower courtyards, Stanton scoped in another cabal from his perch. With a shot ringing across the channel, the Cabal Legionary fell and his two companions turned and looked. Another down. The third, realizing what was next yelled in it's alien tongue and boom. It's facemask broke open and it fell over. "Say something now space turtle," Stanton said as he got up and moved. The calls for reinforcements in the courtyard ahead were unbearable as civilians were screaming in pain while they called out. As a hunter, Stanton knew the quickest way to end those screams was with a silent dagger in the back. Moving from shop to shop, building to building Stanton outflanked the few cabals in the area only to see a bigger fight coming. Across the yard, the Cabal was pressing forward. Suddenly, an electric shock overtook Stanton as he reeled back clutching his chest and breathing heavily all of a sudden. Next moment he looked up? A psion was aiming at him with a red dot obscuring his vision. Solstice Plate (drained)- With a heavy push, Stella heaved a piece of rubble out of the way. Behind her was her friend, Christine-4, "We should move up to the nearest Tower. Help evacuate all we can along the way." "We have a pretty long hike then. Best get moving." Stella replied and she was right. They were in the marketplace a few blocks away from the nearest outpost tower. Moving in semi defensive cover, Stella spotted two people stabbed through the torso by Cabal Centurians. "You're up Christine. I'll draw their fire." And with that Stella moved into the open firing her trusty scout at the Centurians. Immediately off to the side, two other legionaries moved up, only to be met by Christine-4 holding her trusty fusion rifle. "Wrong City, wrong place, perfect time for me though." as she burst the fusion wiping the two out in a single burst. The two centurions moved up and were quickly dispatched by Stella with her secondary shotgun. Wasting no time, Stella and Chrstine-4 rushed ahead freeing two more groups of people. "Run. Get out of the City. Exit over there." as they pointed to the hole in the wall. With the last group moving through, Stella turned for just a moment to make sure when Christine-4 and her felt a heavy hit. Losing their balance, both fell to a single knee. "What... is that?" Christine-4 asked looking up and seeing the latch on the Traveler. Stella looked up and didn't know... but she knew what it was doing. "Christine. The City is lost with guardians without light. Forget the Tower. Let's circle the area and get the civilians to safety. We'll regroup with all guardians later." Christine-4 knew Stella was right and thus turned around and headed back towards the bazaar area. It was the last time we ever saw them. On that last holodrone which went blank afterwards. Searches are still looking even to this day. Solstice Greaves (drained)- It had been more than two weeks since the fall of the Last City and true to his fashion? The fireteam was still neck-deep in redirecting Cabal patrols to help other guardians get to safety. "Even without our light we still manage to find straggler groups like this? Makes me wonder if we ever needed it at all!" "Gosh dangit Adam. Will you please focus on the 900 pound Cabals maintaining pace with us for once?!!!" "We've given those other groups some time to reach the relay point. Let's end this." Both exclaim, "Finally the Titan wants to stop running and fight." "We have a need to fill and we're useless to that need if we're dead." the titan responded as he aimed his auto rifle through the tree line, resting it on a large trunk for stability. "Plus we have the high ground now. Easy picking for those six or seven Cabal chasing us the entire time." "Oh yeah? How about the twenty or so Cabal last week you decided to stand by and fight? No strategic manoeuvering needed there huh?" the hunter replied as she opened up the first shot with her hand cannon. For the next many minutes were basically a slaughter of Cabal reinforcements trying to locate the trio of robin hood thieves leading one direction then another only to find themselves in a pool of their own blood at the end. - That evening- Around a campfire, we find the warlock laughing. "I never thought I would see the day. We're officially. Wanted." "Wait. What? Give that here!" the hunter exclaimed reaching for the piece of paper. The titan, grinning looks over at his friend knowing this trick to pique the curiosity. Upon grabbing the paper, the hunter turns it over to see his friend drew her likeness... with a mustache and plain "wanted" on the top. The hunter is not amused. Looking up, "So you're saying I would look good with a mustache huh?", "Absolutely. If your heart desires it? Maybe the traveler will gift it to you when we free it." The night was supposedly a cold one. But around that campfire? The flames of rebirth were already being lit and the three friends were showing why one or two will die away... but three will find a way. Always. And last... but certainly not least... Solstice Mark/Cloak/Bond (drained)- A memo sent from a lone guardian to all guardians: On that day, guardians were reminded of the loss of great power. But with it came the loss of greater power. The friends now once more turned is something we must remember in our solstice moments. For while drained of light, you knew a terrible fate which occurred. Many once brave and powerful guardians have fallen. But in that hour of greatest need, we brought it back. We assumed our legacy once more and the time will rise once more for the test to be proven as it is now. Remember the solstice this time guardian. Because next time might be our last story to be told as theirs have already been told. Good luck fellow guardians.
