When people melee in this game, especially in supers like wraith and bottom tree striker, the player does not move forward, they teleport instantly. In and out of supers this is a significant problem because enemies will teleport back and forth, making it nearly impossible to counter supers that rely on melee by shooting them unless the individual in the super is extremely sloppy. Roaming supers are broken, and we should be able to reliably shoot them to death if they stay in the open too long, but a great deal of my shots will miss because these roaming supers rely heavily on light attack spam for movement, making them nearly impossible to hit when you combine the broken teleportation mechanic with the inherent latency of this game. PLEASE make melee a fully choreographed animation instead of a long-distance teleport that makes it impossible to hit people; I'm trying to counter the broken super meta by out shooting people, but even that isn't viable.

All I hear from this thread is "nerf titans, nerf titans, titan FoH is too fast, titans teleport, when did titans get blink?" As a Titan main, let me tell you that if you have semi decent aim on pc or a shotgun, shutting down a titan in FoH is NOT a hard thing to do. You can't argue that FoH needs a nerf while also ignoring how prominent Spectral Blades and Dawnblade are in PvP. The duration of Dawnblade when a good Warlock uses it is easily enough to outplay a Titan in FoH, as well as obtain more kills. Spectral blades on the other hand.... my god idk how anyone can complain about FoH while Spectral Blades is still the way it is. On top of being able to go mostly invisible, they completely drop off the mini map, they can spam light attack to teleport even more erratically than a Titan in FoH, and they have have the ability to keep the super going longer just by right clicking to go invisible again after a kill. I'm honestly tired of hearing people cry about Titans when Titans are probably the least played class in Destiny 2, and Hunters and Warlocks are clearly the better class. Seems as though this is a case of the majority of players crying about the minority of players they aren't a part of, and therfore, don't understand what it's like playing the other class. I play all three of my Guardians, and I can confidently say that I would rather main a Hunter or a Warlock over my Titan because they are better. I won't do this however, because I like being a Titan.

CresterOtsにより編集済み: 7/28/2019 6:31:18 AMIt's like the super was meant to kill massive amounts of enemies in a short period of time.....I wonder why so?.......

Glad I wasn't the only one seeing this. Guy would melee my teammate Teammate dies "Dude he was punching me why didn't you kill him?" BECAUSE HE WAS LITERALLY TELEPORTING BACK AND FORTH Trying to shoot a striker spamming the super melee is worse. They just teleport back and forth while coming at you full speed and there's almost nothing you can do about it

Warlocks shouldn’t be getting out slapped by titans though They need to make all classes slap speed the same or give it back the range . They also need to address the exotics for pvp and especially warlocks. The hunter is so dominant and the titans get one hit melee on all skill trees and and exotic that dominates on ALL skill trees and subclasses also. They need to buff a massive chunk of the warlock class for pvp and a massive chunk of titans in pve. Starting with the bubble again.

Honestly, tank First of Havoc duration by three to four seconds, and half the Super energy returned upon Guardian kills, and it’s fine. The duration is what bothers me the most. The melee teleportation animation is bad too, I’ll admit.
-
This would make since if the class in quest was a warlock but they are not. Makes no freakin’ sense on why a titan or hunter do these melee teleports I mean seriously? When the hell did they steal blink again?

Fr. I hate the lunge in D2. A guy would be 10 feet away from me, then miraculously teleport in front of me and hit me.
-
Its the same for normal melees too. It’s been like that for a while. Like melees aren't even consistent. You don't know if you’re actually going to lunge even if the enemy is right in front of you. And then if you do, and the melee animation happens it isn't guaranteed that you’ll actually do damage.

i thought you meant doing a melee to a boss that is about to stomp you to prevent getting launched is broken i agree because that is how physics works. If a giant wrecking ball was about to hit you and you punch it that would stop the wrecking ball from launching you right ?

Roaming supers are getting killed in September. Anytime Bungie says they are going to look at something and adjust it actually means nerfed into the ground. I’m looking forward to roaming supers dying.

TJ_Dotにより編集済み: 7/27/2019 7:16:49 PMI'm kinda confused here, but I'll throwing the removal of forced standing up when you swing melee too. Try punching anything underneath you while on the ground, you always lock to a certain level, easy to miss things that are hunched as hell.
