We are complaining about raids now? People are going around talking about the low participation in raids. Why is that? We are late in season of opulence, people don’t raid once they have everything, and raids take time. People don’t have that time available every day.
What do you want? Bungie to put all their resources in forges and patrols? Need a reminder for season of the drifter?
I sympathize with those of you that are casual and will never step into a raid, but campaigning for bungie to not do them is a little ridiculous.

1 返信I have to agree with what a lot (in my opinion) of people say on this forum. D2 raids aren’t fun. Be it with the revive system (hear a lot of complaints), encounters an/or mechanics, it’s lost whatever it had in D1. Not to mention the fact that (generalization here) just about every group is expecting you to get it done in a couple of hours of go go go and if you can’t then get gud. I remember raiding being about going in and killing a boss of two in a couple of hours tops, check pointing and coming back the next day to do a few more till the raid was done a couple of days later. Not for being casual but not to burn out quickly and say “F it” to raiding. Raids are popular in other mmo games because they are easy to get into, play and enjoy. If the raids in D2 were that engaging it should rank #2-#3 behind patrol and possibly behind PvP. Not only that but be easily 25%+ of total activity. Patrol will always be number just because you always are in patrol whenever you go to a planet. Now the gaming community has fragmented (in general) where if you don’t agree you’re a casual and muted. This is the main problem. Too much tribalism in gaming nowadays. It’s never asked by those who will militantly back raids why so many people are dissatisfied by raids in D2, why are the numbers down so much from D1. Its always those players are casual if they don’t raid, almost like they are lesser players, players that are beneath you. Instead it should be ask, what ways can raids change to bring in more people. Can an introductory raid set up like menagerie work. Not one where you can’t fail, but one that introduces you to a boss fight from a raid with more forgiveness (ie not the revive system a lot of people hate). You go in and learn encounters leading to that boss, fight the boss with you fireteam/randos, learn the mechanics and what have you and at the end, get not loot from the raid but tokens you could turn in to the vendor. You can still wipe and have to restart but give people a lot of revives. More people might feel comfortable jumping into raids after several weeks of that since it’s easier to KWTD (IMO) if you’ve experienced it. Can raids be setup so eventually they get slightly easier each week once the content is old so those who haven’t cleared it yet do whatever reason can work towards it? If I’m not mistaken, did t they do that for a raid in D1? (I could very well be mistaken but I swore they did). Like give a few more revive tokens, lower boss health. And for those that still wanted a challenge, have the option to do heroic or legendary or insane encounters in the raids. Destiny 2 is all of our home, we should help make it great for everyone not just shut doors to rooms we don’t like and lock it off to each other with no casuals allowed signs. We are all going to be a casual to someone else, that’s just how it is. Less arguing more constructive ideas on improving what we love and enjoy. More people = more development of this game.

It’s one players opinion, and other players discussing it with them. The reason why is that some players don’t like seeing Bungie spending resources on activities that have a low engagement rate. So they are expressing that. The problem is it’s true. The day crown of sorrows launched and the worlds first race there was a higher % of players doing the Menagerie than playing ALL of the raids including CoS. That’s a true example of what those players are talking about when they want to see Bungie but raid resources into the parts of the game players actually play.

10 通の返信TBH D1 raids I loved. Hated D2 raids. Just poorly managed and a mess. If they put more time into Sandbox play an Factions , Gambit (just fix Reckoning) give vendors a purpose an just general QoL over an activity majority of us "Joe Walmart" players , or solo players don't play nor have the time for. D2 isn't a hardcore MMO. But it shouldn't be a shooter either, it feels more of a shooter with loot drops then a grand space rpg with shooter elements. TLDR? Add more quality. The game should have been more RPG then shooter.

18 通の返信I don't really care either way, but I've always found it strange that they would devote all the time and resources into an activity that such a low percentage plays.

10 通の返信Screw raids when is patrol going to get a look in for a update .. patrol hasn’t seen a update since the launch of Destiny 2 there’s hardly any new gear for open world on any level .. no new armour or weapon nothing and you want more to be handed out to those who do raids? . I think bungie should focus less on endgame content and competitive play and start focusing on the areas of the game which have been forgotten about

4 通の返信The raids in D2 are simply meh. Too mechanic-centric. That has turned off many players. Sometimes it’s fun to just shoot stuff with a fireteam of 6. ie Menagerie

1 返信Without raids I would of quit this shit show along time ago. They keep me going & tbh it's only reason I will play shadow keep is for the new raid & it's gear. I joined a clan that like to raid & I love doing them with my clan mates

Got tired of spending hours on one activity in a full party. It’s just exhausting with 4 kids now and wifey up my ass during raid day. So I just stopped and play modes that don’t require a shit ton of time.

3 通の返信SoD was terrible because we only had Gambit Prime and Reckoning. Reckoning was designed for you to take a break from Gambit Prime, since not everybody likes it. The problem with that was Reckoning is a worse game mode than Gambit. It was just a loop of meh content, and had nothing to do with a lack of Raid, because it still would've been meh content regardless. I actually like Gambit Prime, and want Raids but Raids need to be more accessible to everyone, even if it doesnt reward loot. Imagine a season of just PvP content and no Raid, like what if Trials comes back as a season. It's the same exact feeling with Raids being exclusive to those with Fireteams, hell even Black Armory's story was exclusive to Fireteams with Izanagi's Burden, arguably the most difficult story exotic to obtain. I've only completed the Black Armory story arc midway through SoD and by that time I've lost track of what was going on.
