I think shadow shot is being robbed of its primary use in pvp....to trap. The red aura that appears on the opposing teams screen and shows where a shadow shot has been cast and the range it can activate at is absolutely dog sh!t. And then there’s the fact that it takes entirely to long to actually tether those who are hit by it. I am a titan main 100% and I play consistently with a couple of hunters, one of them primarily uses top tree shadow shot for its neutral gameplay and I’ve seen him, time after time, pre fire at a roaming super just to have them zip past the anchor, kill him, and then get tethered. I feel for hunters with this as I do main a sentinel and can take out 3-4 supers every game with suppressors.
shadow shot NEEDS to be more lethal. I’m talking WIDE EYED, “WHERE THE F&UCK IS THAT THING” PANIC SCREECHING lethal. When you see “_______ cast shadowshot” you should feel heart drop into your stomach. That might be a bit much but seriously, shadow shot has been lacking for far too long!!!

Its a support super ? Why does a support super need to be lethal? We have enough bs with spectral and such

It was my favorite subclass for a long time in D1. I rarely use it in pvp anymore tho. You can make some good plays with the super but it's far to inconsistent. When I do use it, its usually on maps with a low ceiling. I'll shoot the tether into the ceiling instead of the floor. It's more likely to catch ppl off guard but it's like you said. Fast moving roaming supers can str8 outrun it due to the slow activation

yeah, it is dog poop for sure. I've been maining my titan lately (will switch it up soon to hunter or warlock for fun), but a hunter tried to tether me...saw the red glow, stayed back and shot his head clean off with my one eyed mask lol
