This is just a random idea i had. It would be very cool if Bungie got a team to make animated shorts based on the Books of Sorrow, one of the coolest aspects of Hive lore. Watching a lore recap on the Books of Sorrow COMPLETELY changed my understanding of the Hive, and made them far more intimidating to me.
I want to see Oryx's slaying of Akka, Quria's battle of wits with Oryx on the dreadnought, the other alien races Oryx Took before reaching our system.
How about that time when Crota accidentally opened daddy Oryx's throne world to the Vex? That was a fun time.
Halo has movies and shows based off it, i totally think the same could be done for a game like Destiny.

I would like an animated series based on the life of Randal the Vandal voiced by Samuel L Jackson.

No thanks, I would rather they put that time, money and effort into actually putting the lore in the game itself. Like actually utilizing it in their actual stories, rather than just being some side piece that rarely seems to come into play. The story telling already feels rather lack luster, and most of it also already feels like it is outside of the game. So rather than waste time and money on more story telling outside of the game, I would rather see it actually inside the game for once.

The youtuber my name is byf has lots of videos on lore he even has an 4 or 5 episode series on the book of sorrow. It's really good you should have a look

Not sure about this exact idea but what if they did something like 343 did for the MasterChief Collection, you find terminals that explain some Halo lore. It’s got audio but it’s not exactly a cartoon, more like a drawing style

Balloon Knotにより編集済み: 7/21/2019 10:14:48 PMWhy on Earth does everything have to be animated with this generation, can't you watch things with real people in them, seems like you have to watch cartoons your entire life. Way too many weebs in the world.

I wouldn't. I'm not saying they shouldn't make it if the interest justifies it, but the comics that were made during Warmind were cheesy, and a large portion of the readers couldn't handle the subject matter. So what's the point? I prefer Destiny to be cryptic because it allows room for my imagination to fill in the blanks. The last thing the forums need is people -blam!- about how something in the animated series offended them. "Tell me a story" "No! Not that story! Why did you make X happen?" You told us to tell you a story....

No. Books of sorrow contain a lot of information but it would not fit as a narrative show.
