Matchmaking errors and crucible bugs, since last update

I haven’t been receiving error codes for my connection nor have I ever received a suspension before and I still received a 2 week suspension out of the blue on Wednesday July 17. I kept experiencing the no spawn bug in competitive during survival and countdown, also the bug were your weapons do not render. This has only been happening since the last update. Is this why I received the ban and is anything being done to fix these issues, like lifting suspensions or a new update? Because it appears I’m not the only one experiencing these issues. I would just like an answer from someone at Bungie. Thank you for your time and your work Destiny and the community that comes with it have created a great escape for me.

  • Maybe you’ve been lagging a lot on your team mates and enemies screens? It’s possible recent players have reported you for that

    • There are two reasons why one can get restricted: playing with a cheater or playing with a poor connection. Due to the nature of how players connect to each other and the game, this game is much more sensitive to unstable connections, and you yourself may not notice these effects if you're the one causing them. There is an issue where people are getting suspended because of the buggy instances of PvP/Gambit matches, but suspensions, restrictions, and bans are all different punishments. Suspensions last 30 to 60 minutes, and are automatically applied. Restrictions last two weeks to two months, and are only applied after manual review of players' reports. I could be wrong, but I don't believe people are getting restrictions from these latest bugs. Could you do a detailed network test and tell us your upload speed, download speed, latency, and packet loss?

        Okay can there please be a reply from Bungie, I have already posted a message for some sort of explanation. I love Destiny and I already have fixed my connection several months ago. My internet connection is the best I can make it, wonderful internet does not exist every where. I can do all activities I’m currently allowed to just fine. Bungie I don’t care what the reply is but as a paying customer, can I please get an explanation of some kind? I have never received a suspension of any kind and I am given a 2 week suspension out of the blue, it doesn’t seem right? I copied a url to a @BungieHelp that says your currently investigating the exact issue that I had occur to me on my PlayStation. If a simple google search is done for the crucible you will find numerous conversations over Reddit and twitter of other players going through the same thing. So if it’s a wide spread issue can we get an eta on a hot fix or a full fledged update? If a representative replies to this, I would like to say thank from the bottom of my heart. I love the work y’all do and I enjoy the community you’ve created in this game. I appreciate the time that is taken to resolve the issues that pop up from time to time. I know this has been long winded but I would appreciate something and will accept full responsibility if there was really a issue on my end, my psn gamer tag is vas_qwip_qwip .       • i would like a answer too :( yesterday i got the same restriction without receiving a previously warning, i know my connection is not the best because i'm from a poor country and internet services that they give really sucks, I rarely disconnect from a game and can not go back, I usually play fairly stable because I hate to play with lag, and when I know I have lag I just do not play because I do not want to lose. (sorry for my bad english) :c
