Everyone suggesting to just run a Nightfall is missing the point... The OP has discovered something that can screw players over and it shouldn't be all that hard for Bungie to fix it. A "death" should be your character's health reaching 0 and nothing more. "Team Wipes" via someone (or multiple people) dying in a Darkness Zone should not affect you unless you yourself also died.

You get these trolls who just want to run free like a bat out of hell just to go to the next section and jump off a cliff and die to yank other players into the next section and kill their bounty progress, just to troll them and waste their time! It never ceases to amaze me how trolls can be such -blam!-!

What about the people that are playing the game and killing enemies in the strike? If someone trying to speed through to the end and kills themselves to pull everyone any progress is lost on these bounties, which is the point of this post. Not that this is a ridiculously hard bounty, but it is not fair to someone playing the activity for others to have the ability to set back progress on another task they are trying to do.

That's just the problem, they were playing the strike, the first guy got ahead and died! I've see it plenty without the bounties, so I speak from experience. That one guy is able to slip by all those adds, but you and the other guy are locked down by snipers, like in Will of the Thousands.

That isn't even trolling, that's making an inconsiderate dick do the actual strike he signed up for. If they want to farm a Lost Sector they can do the NF solo, it's annoying as hell to see people do that in the strike playlist as it's just rude and inconsiderate.

Oh, this isn't about going off into any other places or doing a public event in the middle of a strike. I've done the pull in death thing myself. Now, if I have the bounty and see the other two stop and kill enemies, I know they're trying to get that bounty done, no problems there, but one better watch very closely and not lose sight of either of them or you get pulled in. This happened the other day, no one died, we just got the kills. Then we continued the strike.
